People there will often say (a) if they're available, (b) have multiple offerings, and (c) give you a price list.

2. While sketches are cheaper, keep in mind 8 characters is a LOT. 90% of artists will charge per character.

Hi guys, Ive always wanted to get a commissioned piece for my heroes, but every time I look at the price tag I find it hard to justify spending that kind of money.
So Id like to make an art request please. Im NOT looking for free art, I believe in paying you for your service, but I am looking for a nice guy/gal artist help out on the price tag.
So hopefully making the job simple for you, all I really want is a sketch, a black and white pencil drawing or something in that line, of all my 50s. A background isnt even necessary. Id like to make it as simple and inexpensive as possible for both of us.
I have 8 characters I would like to see in the sketch, 5 male, and 3 female.
How much would something like this go for?
