Character portraits

i've been producing character portraits as christmas presents to the community (still doing them as far more people wanted them than i expected), and since i'm now over here, i thought i'd post them here for criticism of my wobbly lines too...

this fella's obviously influenced by the likes of 'V', but here's Alexander Finch:

I, for one, don't trust this so-called Doctor of Destiny.

we may be past christmas, but the huuuuge pile of christmas requests still squats there, like a huge squatty thing, so the christmas pics aren't done yet!

thanks very much Mr M., very nice of you to say so

Next up, The Mad Hatter, with a contemporary spin on his abilities. I'm certainly no John Tenniel, so I've deliberately avoided making him look like past versions (for fear of very bad comparisons being made...)

thanks very much - colour is vital to me in all of these, as i think it's really what pulls my rather wobbly lines together.

This is the first page of Book Two of the Doctor Destiny comic strip I've been doing. Doc D is a 'street level' mage, who tends to hang around the cracks in the pavement, dealing with those who fall through, and although he was designed a loooong time ago, was my first character in CoH, my first 50 and, of course, my main.

I'm really posting it here to gather opinions and criticism on it, as that's how we 'grow' as artists...

I like the bold use of shadow durring the inking. There is some strong work here. I look forward to seeing more.
