The part where you said you fail almost every TF you do.

And you didn't get 9/10ths of the way through the TASK FORCE. You got 0/4ths of the way through it.

thanks for the info on the0/4 and im about at an 80%failure rate on tfs with an 8 man team. successfully completed about 3 out of 22-24 tfs gone on.this is what i call casual gaming. if its better than this pros are involved.
but some people talk about a better average times, my best itf is over 2 hours, with some ghosting involved. the times i see listed are nowhere near attainable by anyone i game with. so i could never get the amount of merits that are posted as average.
people will flame me and call me lame but these are the facts for me.

I routinely do ITF's that take between 2 and 2-1/2 hours. I don't believe in 'speed runs'. I don't think they're fun.

But I don't understand how you can be failing so many TF's. The vast majority of them aren't that hard. Do you mean having to quit due to time constraints or real life interfering? Failing 80% of TF's isn't 'casual gaming'. Many casual players don't do TF's because they can't commit that amount of time in one sitting, but when they do, casual players and pick-up groups can complete almost every TF in the game.

was just in an itf got all the way to Rommy and we an 8 man team could not get past Rommy at the end got 0 merits. this is the average took about 3 1/2 hours to fail. so i tell you the times are are skewed in a very unrealistic view.

Okay, it's certainly possible to fail the ITF. The Statesman TF is even easier to fail. I just had the impression that you were talking about doing a whole range of different TF's and failing 80% of them. The earlier TF's are a walk in the park compared to some of the newer ones.

As for the times being skewed, (shrug) they are what they are. The ITF gives 28 merits which means an 84 minute median time. I don't think my SG has EVER done it that fast. Hurrying isn't fun and we don't care about 'merits per hour'.

yes you were correct with your 1st assumption. i have tried alot and have successfully completed 3 of them the itf 2 times and 2 different respec trials. all the rest have been abysmal failures.

no real life problems, just seems the content is too difficult to complete for the teams i am on.
