It would be a little too unfinished for a guide here. You may want to post your log in the City Life Forum or the forum for you ArcheType for feedback, which would help in creating the guide. The diary stuff is a little too non-guidey for this forum and better suited for a personal blog.
You might want to check out this guide to leveling for things to do as you level. And you might want to check out existing build guides for your ArcheType and build. So, if you're playing a Scrapper, go to the Scrapper forum and see what build guides already exist for the type of Scrapper you have.

You may, however, want to be sure to keep notes anyway. Some builds "bloom" later, or work better after getting to a respec - note what you're doing before or after. What drives me up the wall with some is "Well, here's a guide, and at 50 you'll be awesome, especially with ten billion worth of IOs!" Well, great, but that's not helping me at 18, or 24.
For instance, often when talking about Human-form Khelds, some will suggest taking Nova anyway and dropping slots into that 'til the mid 20s or 30 or so, then respeccing, or for some other ATs (Emps and /Psy doms or /MM blasters come to mind) taking Stamina and respeccing out of it later.
Remember all with the new dual-build feature you can now plan, slot and play an AT with a build geared for team/support and a build for when you solo. If you have the inf. to purp both builds out then so be it. Otherwise recommend you purp either the solo build or the team build. Yes you can also build for pvp(lawlz).

I'm working on a guide. I've been writing this guide as I've been leveling the character. It's kind of a combined Build guide/advancement diary of my Toon. I want to post it but have only made it to level 13. Would posting it now and updating it as I go along be acceptable, or should I wait a few months until I'm done and post the whole thing at once?
