I just downloaded one fine. What error are you getting? Are you getting these over the web or going straight from the FTP server? Can you view other pdf files?

I think the most likely problem is that you need to update Adobe Acrobat.

Unable to connect

Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at ftp.cityofheroes.com.

* The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few
moments.

* If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network
connection.

* If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure
that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

I get that on three work computers, my home computer, and my mom's new MacBook.

Hmmm, some sort of connection weirdness. Try bringing up IE and going to ftp://ftp.coh.com then look in the comics directory.

My only guess is that it could be a regional dealio, since CoH has had a few issues with that fairly recently. Though if your work/home/momma computers use a different provider then it's probably not the case.

Yeah, that or they are all using a firewall that has some setting that blocks FTP access. <shrug>

I guess I would do a /petition and ask Support for help. There's a tool for diagnosing network issues but it's also on the FTP site.
