hey Scooter, I really hate having to dig through more then one page to find what I'm looking for, so I'm posting to keep this as close to the front page of the section as possible.
mark it as a favorite
I have, but I don't always have acces to computer where I can log into the boards. So I can view the boards but not log in to get the my favorites. (Either way, just keep working on the story silly!!!)

Long overdue
. Part five enjoy. I've scrapped it several times after getting it back from a very dear friend of mine who is doing my editing. I just wasn't feeling it I guess.
What Makes Evil? (part five)
Lylith found herself alone with herself again, Jenna had made some excuse about getting some equipment she had stored back in Paragon so she could finish some research. Kiarra had run off as soon as the Arachnos had finished briefing them.
So much for loyalty. Lylith commented as she watched Kiarra run off into the debris littered streets outside Fort Darwin. Helena had pretty much shut down during the briefing. She was in shock over what she had done to the Longbow Sergeant.
Helena, I really dont care if you are completely here or not. But dont interfere with what needs to be done. Arachnos has given us an opportunity to realize our full potential. I feel like Im being used for something I dont quite understand yet. However, we are going to kill people some of them will be innocent some not. All of them will be in between us and our goals, well my goals.

Lylith then looked down at herself, still wearing the orange prison jumpsuit.
Well we certainly cant go around building our own empire looking like this.
Lylith recited an incantation and fire sprang from their hands. It spiraled around her feet and rose up her legs, body, arm and head. As the fire touched her clothes they changed into something else. When the fire had dissipated she was wearing a skin tight black body suit, the legs were short and showed off a considerable amount her legs above thigh high black stiletto boots. Her wrists were covered in thick black leather bracers that had some very intricate tooling on them. She found a mirror and looked at her self. The lower half of her face was covered with jet black material; it completely hid her features and yet did not restrict her breathing at all. Upon her forehead was a black tiara made of something Helena had never seen before. It was so light that Helena hadnt even felt it. She touched it and it was warm and hard. Harder than anything she had ever felt. Embossed on the crown was a gold symbol.

symbols, like words, have power. This one represents eternal life. It will allow us faster access to those devices Arachnos is providing for us in the very unlikely chance that we should fall.
Helena marveled at their transformation. The contrast between the darkest black that she had ever seen and her pale skin made it look like alabaster.
Lets go do some villainy

They set off into the streets of Mercy Island, going the bidding of the Fortunata Kalinda, for the time being. The more violence Helena was exposed to the less it seemed to affect her. The smell of burning flesh no longer made her stomach turn. It was almost better then the smell of the creatures she was sent to destroy. Half man, half snake, all brutality. It did not take them long to earn the respect of Kalinda. She told them to speak to a man known as the Mongoose. Who, after culling the Snake population further granted her access to Upper Mercy. Upper Mercy is much cleaner and well maintained. Arachnos troops routinely patrol it cleaning up wandering snakes and the occasional Skull. Unfortunately the shock troopers didnt appreciate being shoved aside to make room for the new Destined Ones, and would, more often than not, take pot shots at them as they wandered the streets. The relationship between Mongoose and them became less task master/crony to more of an associate. Mongoose was providing information that led them to places that they could not only increase their standing within Arachnos put increase their personal wealth at the same time. The destruction and death that followed in the wake of their passing drove Helena further to surrendering herself to her darker nature. She feared she was going insane becoming desensitized to the suffering of others.

It took even less time, for them to exhaust the opportunities Mongoose had for them. They discovered a ferry that would take them to Port Oakes. As soon as they disembarked they were met with a pleasant surprise.
I have found Mistress. A clearly non-human voice said.
They turned prepared to assault anything non friendly. Only to find a small black Feline figure crouched atop a shipping crate.
Kiarra! I thought youd disappeared. A sudden realization occurred to Lylith, Kiarra had used the word mistress. Bad Kiarra, tell me where you ran off too.
I sorry, Kiarra was hungry, snakes not taste good. Mistress comes now, Doggie needs Mistresss help, I tell Doggie, Kiarra find Mistress, Mistress help Doggie. Kiarra explained as she jumped off the crate and began to rub against Lyliths legs.
I am not inclined to help anyone, Kia kitty! Lylith exclaimed resisting the urge to touch Kiarras velvet soft ears still wanting to punish her for running off.
It was hard to decipher what Kiarra was saying as she began to purr.
Mistress Helps Doggie, Doggie will help Mistress. Mistress comes now. Kiarra ran off.
Not willing to lose her pet again Lylith followed Kiarra off the Docks and down an alley. Lylith was instantly on alert aware that someone could ambush her. Kiarra disappeared around a corner and Lylith stopped short and peered around the corner only see a wall. Or so she thought. The wall began to move and she saw that the wall was actually a person about seven feet tall and covered in brown stone like armor. She could also see Kiarra crouched on top a wooden crate munching on a large fish behind the wall.
Kiarra, the wall began to speak, his voice was deep and rumbled like boulder rolling down a mountain I said you could have the fish after you brought me your Mistress. I dont appreciate you snatching it out of my hands.
Kiarra, not taking her focus off the fish, lifted a paw and pointed in Lyliths direction. The wall turned around as Lylith stepped around the corner.
I assume you are Kiarras Mistress. Call me Rock Dog. He rumbled.
Lylith took a moment to admire Rock Dog. Despite the stone covering his enormous body his face was handsome, it was weathered a bit like he was used to being outside.
I am the Lady Lylith, were you aware that my Pet calls you Doggie? Lylith responded with a wry smile on her face, not that anyone could see it.
Yeah, I know that, been tryin to get her to call me Rocky at least. I think once she names something in her head it sticks. Rock Dog replied lifting a stone covered hand and rubbing the back of his neck.
So Kia Kitty, tells me you require assistance. Tell me all about it
