Haven't seen anyone post the mov or fx for the new booster pack so i figured i'd do it

MOV PRESTIGE_SELFDESTRUCT 0
FX Maintained 763480 POWERS/ITEMSANDTEMPPOWERS/SELFDESTRUCTION/AUDIO_WINDUP.FX 0
FXSCALE 10.000000 10

Interesting. The earth-shattering ka-boom is part of the MOV, not the FX.

There's also the sparking and blowing steam part:

0 35 FX OneShot 227691 POWERS/ITEMSANDTEMPPOWERS/SELFDESTRUCTION/SELFDESTRUCTION_WINDUP.FX 0

The other one is the warning siren piece, but has no visuals.

demos don't play sound right? So you can pretty much forget that part if ur gonna use it in a demo

Not necessarily - it's a setting on your demo player. Mine plays back sound (I use Zloth's) but I tell FRAPS to disable the sound unless I specifically NEED said sound effect.

one other thing of note, the Self destruct does NOT work with NPCs. Well at least with the NPCs of the Longbow Mech, the Malta Titan, The Nemesis Warhulk, the Vangaurd HVAS or the Nemesis model.

Does it work with 'puddle'?

Test Subject 42 - lvl 50 Sp/DA Scrapper
Oku No Te - lvl 50 MA/SR Scrapper
Borg Master - lvl 24 Bots/traps MM
Pinnacle

Nyghtfyre - lvl 50 DM/SR Scrapper

Puddle, no. But some NPCs do work. I was testing it yesterday with Dr. Brainstorm (doctor_brainstorm_01) and just ran another quick test with Statesman (Model_Statesman). They both work.

Many MOVs are model-dependent in one way or another. All the ones mentioned above aren't standard humanoids, which are probably why it didn't work.

Note that Torroes_Prime tried it with some pretty non-standard models. I suspect that it works with most "human" NPC's.

I wonder if "Invisibleactor" is a humanoid model... Anyway, if you want just the effect, you can probbaly use a blank slate character like Leandro did to make his rain of donuts.

ya its probably safe to assume that its only for humanoid npc models since its a player specific power, gonna try it on the redcaps n stuff to see if it works, ill let you all know later
