costume challenge - Weld Read - fire/mm blaster

I can up with the name Weld Read and the idea of a scientists (bookworm type) who built himself a cybernetic or armored body. He is a fire/mind blaster. The name is a play on Well Read, Weld (made of metal), and Red (his primary color).

any costume ideas?

I wanted to use the sleeveless lab coat, but using robotic arms 2 in order to use the steampunk upper arms means no jackets allowed. Anyway, my take on him. Thought about a bare head with blast goggles but decided that would be leaving a squishie body part exposed.

the gauntlets and shoulder pieces go great together - and with the vanguard chin piece.
