I use the programs found in Adobe CS3 and Sony Vegas for simple GIF animations. But you can also get it .GIF animated (or converted) through Camtasia which I used to use a lot in school. Play the small video-link on that page to see what it does.

Could anyone give me a link or recommend a program for making video avatars?....i can make decent videos but i cannnot seem to get them into .gif format and i know a lot of people here can...so if ya can help that'd be awesome
