"Check it out, that must be the guy that just left the bank." Aiko said, smirking.

Vincent eyed Rakeram, "Aight, let's handle it. Kelly, it's all you."

Kelly smirked saying, "Okay." With that she flew off after Rakeram, gaining on him at a steady rate. ((She's a REALLY fast flyer, not trying to discredit your toons abilities.))
When she would get close enough to him, she would attempt to knock him out of the sky.

Siren’s eye twitched weakly. He jaw dropped at the sheer amount of ignorance the kid had. He was hoping that if it came down to it, the youth would somehow size up to his robotic minions, which hopefully didn’t come from a website.

Then again, why was he worried? His ego seemed to fit Arachnos standards, but he was afraid of peering in to his mind. So far, he had been pretty cooperative… Until it came to requests.

[ QUOTE ]
"Sorry, that was meant to be rhetorical. Shall we get going?"

[/ QUOTE ]

Siren stood still looking forward, attempting to continue the conversation. “You clearly misunderstand me… I-“ Before the man could finish, Jake had already caught up to Brawl, who could only watch as Jake brushed past him with six robotic allies in tow.

-Classy kid.- Brawl projected to the Psychic.

[ QUOTE ]
"Well, aren't you coming?" He shouted back to them after getting about ten feet away from the two. "Weren't you the guys who wanted to go to another place in the first place?"

[/ QUOTE ]

“Excuse me, I’m not finished talking to you!” Siren roared to Jake, who was just about to turn to continue walking. “Don’t pretend like you can’t hear me!”

[ QUOTE ]
"If I were you, I'd stop treating your youthful existence as a game and grow up. The world is no place for one as unskilled and cocky as you."

[/ QUOTE ]

Siren turned to Mortanis as he spoke. -It’s about time…- He thought to himself as Mortanis delivered quite the accurate description of the moment.

[ QUOTE ]
"Save the lecture." He replied back to Mortanis, not bothering to turn away from the first two villains. "I've heard it all before. From other villains, heroes, my superiors, you name it. But do you see me dead?"

[/ QUOTE ]

Jake had shocked Siren again with minimal effort. “Why you little brat… Clearly you need an edu-“

Brawl shot a look at Siren for a moment. -Siren…- Brawl attempted to interrupt in a monotonous inner tone.

[ QUOTE ]
"Obviously someone hasn't tried hard enough, or has acted in the manner that you present yourself.”

[/ QUOTE ]

“Yes, thank you for being an honorable man now if I may-“

-Siren…-

[ QUOTE ]
“Enough of this, you and your comrades may be of use to me. I have a job that requires more hands than I can spare, and I'm looking to hire some new blood.”

[/ QUOTE ]

“Oh ho… I knew there was a catch, but the three of us MUST be goi-“

-Siren…-

[ QUOTE ]
”The pay is negotiable, the time adequate, and if done right, there will be no trail for others to follow. Are you in?"

[/ QUOTE ]

“No, we will NOT comply…” Siren began in a rude tone. “First off, I don’t know who you are, but by the way this conversation is going, this will most likely be one of those situations that get us killed!”

-Oh, Si - ren…- Brawl thought as he rolled his eyes.

“Secondly,” He flung his head toward the direction of Jake, speaking more quickly as anger unrelentingly fueled him. “You will follow me by my terms. We don’t have time for this.”

-SIREN!-

“Now follow me before I- …WhaaAAAAT?!?!?!” Siren yelled nearly at the top of his lungs in a fit of rage, shooting a searing glance at Brawl.

Brawl didn’t… Well, couldn’t respond for a few moments. His serious stare had shifted slightly, looking at his friend as if saying, ‘You… Freaking… Idiot…’

-I was goin’ to say that we had a chance to run before they noticed, but you took care of that pretty quick.-

Siren’s left eye twitched as his head creepily turned almost a full ninety degrees back to Jake and Mortanis. “Don’t… Say… A word…” He fumed through clenched teeth.

Mortanis peered past Jake to look upon another stranger, who obviously was having some issues at the moment.

I hope these ones don't associate with the boy....

"Excuse me, are you with him?" Mortanis was growing to a state of irritability, which was not ideal with his intentions with these gifted.

at Arbiter diaz's house

It was a long day for Diaz, he had to stand around all day and train new villains. the problem with new villains was that they were very impatient, and often argued to the point of attacking him. mostly the werewolves and such. he was trying to get a promotion, possibly take a job at sirens call. no, it was not the time to think about that, it was time to relax. today was a very rare occourance, since only fortunatas and up got vacations.

He opened the freezer door, and a sudden burst of cold hit his face. funny, feels like when that ice-shooter girl misfired., he thought. grabbing a half-eaten quart of Rocky Road and a spoon, he sat on his lay-z-boy and turned on the tube. as the image of a woman advertising "the next breakthrough in yadda-yadda-yadda" filled the screen, he quickly changed the channel. "garbage, weather channel, cartoons," he said as he flipped through, "oh! Ghostbusters! my favorite! only started 15 minutes ago, too!" his channel-changing finger came to a halt, and sounds of proton packs being fired filled the room. he laid back into the chair, watching and occaisionally laughing. 3 minutes later, a door creaked, and he turned to see his bedroom door. "brr, i must of left my window open." he got up, and went there. as he closed the window, he said "there ya go." as he turned to the door, he swore he could see a woman in a suit standing there. he quickly jerked his head back, only to see his dresser and a pile of dirty clothes. "hmm..., must be seein' things." he walked back towards the living room. "drat, missed my favorite scene." he rested, letting him to daze off.

about 30 seconds later, he was woken by the sound of his rubber ducky that he left on the floor earlier being squeaked. The woman in black was there! as he started to get up, glistening black claws shot out from her hands, and she made a jab at his stomach, barely missing. he ran for the door, with the woman quickly catching up behind him. as she sliced at his head, missing again, her claws sank in the wall. "crap!" she said. as Diaz stumbled around he felt the fimaliar surface of a gun handle in his grip. he raised it, firing two shots at her, hitting her with one. she screamed in pain, allowing him to run out the door in only his boxers. "Marcone is comin' for you! you hear me!" she shouted as he ran down the street.

"Them? With me?" Jake replied, almost seeming insulted. "Far from it, my friend. Those two happen to be wanted by Arachnos."

"Which, speaking of," He began again, turning around and addressing Mortanis, "I can't accept your offer. You see, I'm not a mercenary, and I serve only Arachnos. Now if you'll kindly leave, considering we're not interested, I have to take care of these two. 'Kay?" Rolling his eyes, he looked over his shoulder at the other two, beckoning them to follow him toward the ferry. Brushing past Mortanis, he again began his walk toward Port Oakes.

Mortanis's eyes began to lick with green flames, his stare cold and hard. His clenched fists were at his side, his teeth gritted. The boy was certainly beginning to wear out his patience. "Your lack of respect for your betters is disgusting. Too many witnesses here Jonas. Let the boy be. Mortanis was not one to let what he felt were transgressions alone. "If I catch you around here again, boy, I will not hesitate to bring your head to your precious Arachnos masters." With his business done, Mortanis began to walk back to his underground home, ignoring any and all comments that may have been uttered by the youngling.
