Welcome to Protector, and good luck with your new duties as PERC rep.

A few of us out there already know what you're in for, so if you need any assistance just holler.

Well done.

I'll start by saying currently I am the Triumph PERC Representative only since . I have also recently volunteered with Dazz to represent Protector.
I have a 2 kids, a fulltime job and college, so if you don't always happen to see me in game I do have my Skype listed here as well. Contact me in game @Toxic Striker, or if you have skype, my account is reaping-souls (came from a previous game name). If I don't get to you right off the bat try Dazz, though I don't see his contact information posted as of yet.

I've only been a member of PERC since the end of December 2009, I've only hosted I think 2 events so far, and helped on 2 or so PERC hosted events so far. I Don't always have a ton of time for the game, but I do my best and hope to bring more events to Protector.

As you've already found out, Protectorites can be a very peculiar bunch, fiercely individualistic, that will band together when the occasion warrants it. We'll try to not be too rough on you, but no guaranties.

LOL thanks Red, heck I started the game on this server. I'm thinking of a come back tour per say.

Why not...it's fun. I can't think of any other place that I would want to play.

Welcome Toxic! Everything Red and BB said, and a note-we do host events weekly on this server; there's an events calendar floating around someplace, and you can always find the list in the Protector Vigilance global channel's MOTD.

I've found the calendar and Stalemate has added MP's Term Me A Story Contest on it. Thank you all.

So, this* happened.

Basically, I'm doing what I've been doing on Protector as always. But now with the added incentive of having the Player Event Resource Committee backing me up on the Protector, as I will undoubtedly be assisting fellow reps on other servers. I am continuing my involvement in the Mentor Project as well.

With P.E.R.C., I will (still) be working with ToxicStriker and Healing Phoenix - who is still involved, but more in a consultancy role from the last info I have.


As far as events and activities go on our fine server, I want to make this clear:

I'm a facilitator.

I'm not out to try to replace or try to control everything that happens on this server. Not only is that impossible, it would disrespect the efforts of the many who are involved in creating and leading events.

These are the people I want to encourage and help out in any way I can.

My return to P.E.R.C. is another way for me to do this, like the relaunch of the Protector Vigilance global channel and the revamp of the Protector Calendar (and Twitter feed) were before.

These resources are at your disposal, whether you're an event planner, or a participant.

Hi Stalemate...

Not being a big event fan (cause of my other activities in life), i don't think i will be involve in PERC or other Protector Events...

BUT

I'm too curious to see whats this is AND to not... at least... make the effort to look more closely at the calendar you talk about.. and other things... and i'm kind of happy to see you still have the courage to manage that thing and get involved.

And to answer 2HB: the lag will stop right after Quebec orders a public inquiry into the province's construction industry.
