Where did the MMOART crew go?
Previous statement of awe was deemed no no, so new statement of my jaw has dropped and I got drool all over my shirt now.
Um, anyone know how Gill is doing? I haven't seen an update of late and wonder if he drown in some digital ink. lol
He's still crankin' away, but only updates his site once every couple of months. If that.
Plus he's got a LOT of works-in-progress. The guy's a machine.

MMOArt is definitely on my wishlist (along with Juggertha). I'm glad to hear they're still around, I was a bit worried! I haven't seen one thing from them that wasn't amazing.

hmmm i dunno....
Tried emailing him and the email was returned, tried getting ahold of him in every way i know and can't get ahold of him at all. Even his phone number is disconnected. I hope everything is ok for him and Kiesha and family.
Yeah it's been a while since any updates. I heard Buckeyestar had the same trouble i have had in getting ahold of him. If anyone gets to talk to him, tell him to gimme a shout will ya?

Well the website is still up... I'll try and see if there's contact info up there.
EDIT
And both his sales and support emails are getting returns as "unknown account". I've ONE other avenue...

Yeah thats what i mean. I really am concerned. Hope this doesn't mean what i am imagining it means.

Their myspace accounts were both logged into a few days ago a day or so apart both mmo and Lush's; besides that I got nothin.
Hopefully all is okay and we hear something soon. I talked myself out of getting a refund for the stuff I've been in line for for way too long, and I hope I made the right decision.
The one thing I hate most is not hearing even a peep one way or the other.

Well, that's means they're both ok (relatively speaking), so that's good to hear.
Wonder what's going on? Maybe some tech problems?

aah good to know, hadn't thought to check there. Thanks Aza!
I talked to Jomaro last week (commission related) and he sounded fine to me, a bit overwhelmed, but okay. He basically lost all his email and email is borked quite nastily. He did give me mmoart@gmail.com to get in touch with him.

"The Babylon Project was our last, best hope for peace. It failed... In the year of the Praetorian War, it became something greater... our last, best hope for victory."
Ah yeah, I kind of figured it might be a tech thing.
Whew!! That's good news...

Ok no luck on this front still.
I think i am just gonna call it a loss. I spend way to much time stressing out over it and it's just not worth it to me. I look at it like gambling. I just shouldn't have put so much money in one place. I tried the gmail and tried to PM on myspace with no luck. I'm just throwing my hands in the air and giving up. Shame though. I remember a time when MMOart was on the top of my list for commissions because of their excellent customer relations. I still admire them for doing what they did but i won't be losing any more sleep over it.

I'm not going to stress over it. I figure he'll get clear of whatever stress he's got going on, and he has contact info for me for both commissions.
Any home business is a gamble, and artwork doubly so. I'm just hoping that if Jomaro and Nakeisha are in trouble, that they not be too proud to ask for help, or let people know. Keeping everyone in the dark is never good.

I'd still like to know what's going on.
If they're just having internet troubles, why not head somewhere and clean up the email backlog?
If something is wrong with the email, post a notice on the site saying so.
If something is wrong personally, do the same.
This is a great community that has helped each other along through many tough times.... but for any community to continue, there needs to be open communication.
As a fellow artist, I feel for Gill for any troubles he's going through. I have no doubt experienced some of the same (having to replace my monitor as i type this), but I think he owes it to his customers to say what's up.
Basically, Giil, we all hope you're doing ok... but try to stop by and tell everyone what's going on.
That's what happens when Jomaro does art for people... it comes out sooo awesome, even bystanders joygasm.
Chuck Norris has been known to break down in tears at the mere sight of Jomaro's art.
