What image/art programs are you using?
Most of them have an "import" command that'll run your scanner as long as you have the drivers installed.
Like I open Photoshop, Click on "File," Mouse down to "Import" and then choose my scanner from the little list that appears.

If you can get a TWAIN driver for the scanner, Photoshop or most other standard programs'll have no trouble using it.
Somehow, I think I got it to work. Thanks for the help!
(Though, I'm not sure I can redo it.)

Nothing big, I just want to figure out how to use other programs to scan my art into other then Dell's default.
Basically, one that came with the computer when I got it. (Microsoft Photo Editor)
How would I search for that?
