In need of Costume Help

So long story short, I'm not quite sure of my costumes, and I need some clarification or suggestions on how to fix up my current costumes, if needed at all. She's a level 50 Robots/Dark/Mace MM, who's a loyal fanatic to Arachnos. Not sure if this helps.

Long story short, I was looking for a sort of simple, yet elegant and sinister look to it. Like the badass that walks down a street and KNOWS she could kill anyone.

Long story short, costume for official Arachnos business... the thing she wears when dealing with Arbiters or taking part in operations.

This one... belts and stripes. Lots of them. Think a different stance on trying to be dark and ebil looking, but without a cape or glowing stuff.

ENTIRELY experimental thing I tried. People claim it turned out well, but I'm not sure of it myself. This one needs looking at the most.


Thaaaaaaaaaat's pretty much it. Confused on one or two, but need help on them all. I'd appreciate any feedback. ^^;;

Maybe toning the red down a little? I don't think its that bright on Arachnos, but still looks great! And the costumes themselves are very nice.

I tried to tone down the red on that one, but Pocket D seemed to just butcher the costume to High Hell then. I dun know what happened with that one. o.o

On th efirst costume I'd replace the black of the pants and coat with the darkest grey (row 1, column 2). That will help the costume pick up the local lighting shades and make the belt and chest darker by contrast.

Costume 2 I'd darken all the reds 1 shade each. I've got some nice bloodwidow costumes I've done and in general the arachnos look uses a skightly darker/subdued red.

Try those changes and see if they don't suggest a few more small shifts.

I agree with the color advice here.

The main things that come to mind when I look at your costume:
- Some parts look "Busy" with all the texture use, replacing some of the unnecessary ones with Tights (or a more subtle texture) would help bring out the costume more.
- Patterns are great, but using the same pattern (like your stripes in costume 3) can tend to make your costume look confusing and somewhat painful to look at when on a mixed background.
- You might want to lighten or change your skin tone if you plan on using black. Black on black is bad.
- Costume 1, I would change to a leg texture to something like pants or tights and use the hot pink color on the pattern. Maybe something simple like a stripe or something for the pattern. You should also change the primary color of the top so it doesn't merge into the coat so much, maybe change to the business shirt with white on the shirt and pink on the tie. Also can't see the gloves, so maybe change something there too..

That's mostly my face having a Sightless mask on it. o.o

I changed the 1st one the most, and the 4th one had the shoulders changed. The 2nd one has a new belt as well, and I plan to make the 3rd costume a half mantle to loose the loop. ^^;;

Hopefully the changes were for the better!
