Just a note:

Since Im staying from Thursday night through Sunday Morning at the Marriott, I got a 'Weekend rate' of $104 for three nights. I lucked out.

Just... quoting this for folks who seem to have missed it. I'm pretty sure that they will be allowing people who are clearly part of this group, in to the event.

The Meet & Greet Policy is what Dave & Busters has posted as to their age limits for attendees and guardians.

"Please make sure that you post that all people will be carded at the door of Dave & Busters to gain admittance to the building. They will be required to show valid ID for entrance.

If they are under 21, they must be accompanied by someone who is 30 or older at all times. No exceptions."

Whether they hold to this or not, it is the policy, and we support Dave & Busters and their posted policies.

So essentially, this event WOULD normally exclude those players who aren't 21.... That's not encouraging.

well, ill be bring my 8 year old son and my wife. He's almost a bigger fan than i am. My wife on the other hand , thats a different story. Ill just give her some cash and she's gone for a couple of hours. thats just enough time for my son and cause some chaos! ( jk )

We will be looking at other venue possibilities in the future. So this is relevant feedback.

Thank you for pointing this out, I am sure no matter where we hold the event there will be some age guidelines but not quite this stringent.

For reference, I have brought my two sons to this Dave & Busters since they were less than ten years old. I don't know what all this fuss is about -- the place is an arcade and a attached restaurant. Like many restaurants, they serve alcohol. I've never run into any problems there and, like most arcades, there are a ton of kids wandering around.

The fact, of course, that 90% of the folks responding to the threads are talking about liquoring themselves into oblivion MIIIIIGHT have something to do with the worries lol!

I don't see it actually being a problem, for the group - I'm 40. They should let me take 8 people in hee

Myself I can't drink, my body and alcohol don't get along at all. But, hey. That means I will be far, far better at photos and lurking than others. Lurking, not lurching I think.
