Female spines scrapper costume?

Any ideas on how to make this? Every option I have tried has just looked a little silly once the spines pop....

I always thought the tops-with-skin blast option made a lot of sense for a spine scrapper, as though the spines were making those holes in the costume.

Well, I meant more specifically the blasted/ripped costume look, but sadly you're right...

I'd use the biosynthetic armor texture along with the plant details. That way the spines look like part of the "plant."

I don't know if this will help, but this is the costume I use on my Spines/Regen scrapper, Tural. In scraps are a few of her in action on the streets, if you wanna see how the colors look with spines.

Thanks for the fix and for the comments Gaderath! Maybe one day I will take screenshots of my spines/dark armor scrapper. He is Tural's sibling and they are trying to find each other (kinda can't since I can only play one at a time).
