Future Story Arc plot details!

Earlier in the year I got the idea to make a future storyline of one of my characters, Sarix Morrison's reincarnation into Sarix Porter. Well I went ahead and thought up some plot ideas and background details to this future scenario and where all my present-day characters would end up. If you need info on whatever character I'm talking about there are links after the quote for you.

[ QUOTE ]
Future details (roughly 30-40 years into the future

from the main storyline):
<ul type="square"> [*]Nether-Touch (Turbo-Ski’s dead husband, Kevin Portman, in an

animated corpse) was killed by Kraticax. Kraticax used the

chains that Nether-Touch got from the gatekeeper of the

Netherworld to siphon Sarix’s and Tarix’s power into him.

Kraticax gained his full power for a short period of time only

to be taken down by the combined might of the heroes of Paragon

City and the villains of the Rogue Isles. Kraticax’s powers

were consumed by Tarix when Kraticax died. Kevin’s soul was

taken by the Gatekeeper as payment for the chains; he is now

forced to become the Gatekeeper’s successor.

[*]Turbo-Ski is dead. She sacrificed her mortal body in order

to enter the Netherworld so she could free Kevin’s soul from

the Gatekeeper. Under normal circumstances she would have been

unable to harm the astral being, but she tricked Lady Farsight

into killing her so that her soul would be partially imbued

with the energies of the Purifier (Heaven’s fallen guardian).

She succeeded in defeating the Gatekeeper and with the

remaining power of the Purifier the couple’s souls were

purified and they were sent to Heaven together. The Gatekeeper

still lives, but now looks elsewhere for a new successor.

[*]Sarix Morrison is dead, was killed by Tarix while protecting

Tabitha Morrison AKA Lady Farsight. Tarix was drastically

wounded in the fight and disappeared for almost 17 years before

resurfacing again.

[*]Sarix Porter is the reincarnation of the soul of Sarix

Morrison. Her identity is revealed to her on her 16th birthday

by Lady Farsight and her start as a hero begins shortly after.

[*]Lady Farsight has retired from normal herowork and now

teaches new heroes. She is closely watching over and

safeguarding Sarix Porter from both Vesper and Tarix.

[*]Kraticax is dead and Tarix has inherited his elder brother’s

power and ambitions.

[*]Tarix has become more powerful than Kraticax ever was and

has made his home in Tibet. When he arrived he killed all of

those that wouldn’t give him their souls willingly, thus

becoming his slaves for eternity. He has since acquired a

growing cult of people that worship him and do his evil

bidding. The cult members call themselves “Shadow Embers”.

Tarix has named his new home Kratic, after his fallen brother.

[*]Project Reaver has regained his memories and has upgraded

himself with a much more advanced arm and the forced evolution

of his nanomachines. Seeks to get revenge upon Tarix for

killing Sarix. Spent the last 19 years after Sarix’s death,

protecting a small village in Turkey. During this time a young

Turkish girl named Ayla became attached to him, and secretly

visited him despite the entire village’s fear of him. He

watched her grow from a child into a woman during this time and

feels the same need to protect her like he had with Sarix. The

village is burned to the ground towards the end of his 19 year

stay by Red Kite and Tarock agents. He flees with Ayla and her

family into central Europe.

[*]Eternal Abyss became trapped in her “Dark Hybrid” form after

taking the main generator to a Rikti mothership into her body.

She has since lost her sanity and only has the desire to

consume life. She is currently recuperating after being

attacked by over 100 heroes and is considered a major threat to

the planet. She has renamed herself Umbra. She corrupts

living things with her negative energy mutating them into

monsters that are slaves to her will. She calls them her

Penumbra and uses them to cause chaos and fulfill her schemes.

The crater she makes her home is located in northern Canada and

is called The Eclipse. A giant wall of black ice surrounds

crater and has been referred to as Umbra’s Veil.

[*]Shadow Magma still lives and continues to look as young as

he did in the past. Leads the fight against Umbra and Tarix.

Leader of Vesper, a group of heroes that zealously hunt the

forces of darkness where ever they may be.

[*]Shadow Blaze was Umbra’s first victim and was completely

caught off guard by her friend’s betrayal.

[*]Red Kite is now working for a mysterious organization called

Tarock that is trying to capture Project Reaver. Numerous

sightings of their agents have been spotted near The Eclipse

and Kratic.[/list]

Meh. TurboSki and hubby making it into heaven at the end just doesn't sit right with me at all. She does such terrible things and the story would be more fitting if she managed to get her hubby into heaven, but had to stay in the Netherworld as penance. It would show a different side of her, while giving the story a bittersweet ending.

It's not my char, but the 'everything is wonderful' ending just really seems kinda anti-climactic to me. I mean, Turbo isn't an anti-hero. She's a really sadistic murder. Unless it's a well crafted plan that literally steals hope from the powers of Heaven, it just doesn't ring well. And even then, when they're both in Heaven, she'd have to pay for her previous crimes anyways. I'm not really much of a religious guy, but going against the "ultimate supreme powers of the universe" and winning just seems cheesy.

well it didn't quite sit right with me either, but I want the whole self-sacrifice kind of death for Turbo-Ski with her ending up together with Kevin in the end. I guess I could have them both either burned into nothing by the Purifier's energies or have them lose all their memories and get reincarnated as normal humans. Either way I can't have either of them end up in Purgatory or the Netherworld, since Tarix can rip souls from either place and bind them to his will.

EDIT: I should also mentioned by this point she has gone through numerous periods of trying to become her old self or a hero but ending up going back to her dark side. Only reason she would try to be her old self is because of her love for her husband, without him she feels the need to share her suffering with others.

Going to revise some of this...probably keep Turbo-Ski alive...might just have something for her as far as plot, although it will be minor.

I like the idea of Turbo trying to rescue her love. It makes Turbo's morality into more of a gray than a black and white thing. I just think that the ending should involve something where her past actions come back to haunt her. More a matter of tying up all the loose ends in the plot.

I see villainy like being in the mob. You're *never* fully out of it. You can't keep track of all the potential enemies you've made.

Of course, if you're clever, you could use the bad karma to Turbo's advantage. I dunno the details really, but a good plan or smart decision could use the negative to fund a positive. Getting enemies to fight each other, stealing something that could allow you to change your past, putting the blame on someone else, etc.
