Collecting Rikti invasion video footage

Greetings, all.

My wife and I are collaborating on doing a video of heroes and villains going head to head with Rikti all over Paragon City as a trailer for I-10. However, for variety's sake, it'd be nice to get scenes from all over. If you have GOOD QUALITY Rikti invasion footage (ships flying past, bombs being dropped, or just slugging it out), please send an email directly to my wife at mtravis@samuraiko.com, subject line RIKTI INVASION VIDEO, to work it out with her on how to get it to her.

(Also, if you have any questions, please email her directly with them.)

Footage WITHOUT the HUD would be nice, but if it's just ubercool and it still has the HUD, we can work around it.

EVERYONE who submits footage that we use will get a credit in the video, as well as on my wife's website underneath the video.

What about demos? Seems those would be easier to work with.

Demo files should be easier for us...

but then they would have to playback/dump the demo, assemble the frames into video clips, playback again to get the sounds, then edit the whole thing.

If they get the vids from us... they skip all that work!

Yes, demos would also work. I did not have my husband mention it at the time he made the post because I didn't know you could create those!

And I'm also not hung up on the sounds (mainly because I'm inserting my own sound files and music), and can use FRAPS to nab the footage.

So yes, if you have /demo clips of the Rikti Invasion, those would work as well. Please see the original post on how to get them to me!

PS - of course, if you DO have video files, I wouldn't say no to using them. ;P

Since today is the last day of ongoing Rikti invasions, I'd like to bump the thread back up one last time. I am collecting Rikti invasion footage via demorecords (/demorecord FILENAME, where FILENAME can be designated whatever you want, ie, talosjohanna1).

If you're willing to help, please use the /demorecord feature to nab footage of Rikti invasion battles (or if you're really daring, getting up close and personal with a dropship), and then send an email to mtravis@samuraiko.com on how to get the footage to me.
