New render
ok, 24 hours total of work put in in two days and I'm finally able to post references of my 22 characters. If anyone says that taking over 50 screenshots and puting them together into something understandable is easy, they're lying!
I did this because I really do like them and I'd be more than happy to see people do their own artwork of them. I have gotten a few commissions of them done and a few freebies as well. I am open to anything, even parodies as long as I'm informed that an artist wants to do a parody. I can luagh with the best of them. I still chuckle over Alex's picture of DB12 being outplayed at go-fish with some other nefarious players.
So now on to the links!

With the heroes, I created a different look without masks covering their faces. I've been thinking of removing them for better technology. if you think this is a good idea, let me know.
Thanks for taking the time to view this.
Wow, those are really crisp. I have computer envy!

Surprisingly, they were all done with MS Paint. the BMP format in paint was a little bit higher than Photoshop's JPG format. (paint:87 ppi, PS CS2: 79 ppi) But I do find I convert better from BMP to JPG in Photoshop better. Paint just leaves color blocks all over the image. Also, I am using max resolution in the game of 1280x1024.
I can't help that as a professional IT person, I *HAVE* to have the near latest system. I've been accustomed to a 3 year replacement schedule.....
Got a new render for Moggie!
Moggie's Perch
I know she likes it because it wouldn't be posted without her consent.
Again, thanks, Moggie!
I think it looks sharp (and pointy in bits)!
I like to see your stuff, because every new one is better.

Trying something new in Poser,
Flare in a Fight
I need feedback on this so I can see if importing a background will work instead of the technique I have been using with domes and added objects.
The toughest thing for me is trying to get the light and shadows in my scene just like the imported background. My preference is to use objects but until I become independently wealthy, I'll have to use a mixture of both.
I've done something different. this time I went with a 1/2 figure pose with a background. I think I did a fair job.

I see this as a base for a character we all know. Well most of us know. I think.
Anyway, I think I'm starting to feel more comfortable with doing these pictures of other peoples characters. I could open this thread to requests. I do mostly women renders, and I do an interpretation of a character with the tools I have available. So I guess if anyone is interested, post a character. seeing how it takes a bit of time, I'll start with first 5 and go from there. (fingers crossed)
Wow, that is looking superb! The pose is great.. has a very natural flow to it!! And the detail on the lips is amazing!
Maybe you can practice on a guy
The 'My Heroes' link in my signature has all the information you'll ever need on my characters.. Just click the thumbnail for who you wanna' draw, and it is loaded with a bio, powers, costume considerations, etc. Good luck, man, can't wait to see these updates
Scarf_Girls Official Kid Brother!
You're getting much better with your faces. They're looking more and more natural.
Well, I've done a new render of Flare. This time I tried to give her a more heroic look. Also, she's without mask because I've been thinking about removing the masks and going with a more micro-technological solution that will not be seen but allows the characters to breath in a toxic atmosphere.
the render is here.
Should my characters permantly remove their masks? Let me know. I'll try and get some screens posted.
