What was the deal with the audio-track, though? It sounded a bit... rough...as if recorded at a low-sample rate?
if you watched youtube....it's quality is pretty bad
if you watched mytoon...the quality is a bit better, but still not as good as the version on my computer...
some quality in audio and video is lost in the encoding process unfortunately

Yeah, this is why when creating material for direct-viewing, I always have to be mindful of the presentation medium to be used. YouTube may be 'convenient' for showings, but I have to remember with them to use a high-rate source material and only encode-compress it down the barest I can get away with, before the YouTube site turns it into so much swiss-cheese. 
Someone put up a Flash CoH movie a few years ago and it had the best picture quality I've ever seen in a non-corporate presentation. The clarity was amazing -- the game actually looked better on the video than it does while I'm playing it.
Unfortunately I lost the link when my hard drive kicked, so I have no idea where it is or who made it.

unfortunately, my current software gives me limited options since I'm just using the shareware version of the DivX codecs.
so I can't get my videos down to what YouTube likes to deal with.
