Well the basic requirement is you have to be an artist or art collector, artist range from writers, photo manipulation, basic drawing and other forms of art. So far we have made one exception I think. As for the character it doesn't have to be art related, from what i remember we all made our signature characters with or without their original power sets. If anyone can correct me in this post please do.

The original idea was to put all the characters that appeared in fan art together.
Thor's Assassin, Rowr, Invincibelle, Roxstar were good examples.
Also, the artist who drew a lot of CoH fanart were invited too.
Now, honestly I don't know.
I know it is fun, and I'm sure there are players I've never heard of before or never seen the characters drawn.
The important part: priority to SG grouping and have fun, enjoy the game, and don't be picky on AT, sets or builds.

aw i wasnt even thinkin of that. i just made up a character (.Crusade) and threw him on. I should prolly just make an alt Spade.

Ooh, I didn't realize there were rules... I thought it was for artists and art appreciators. 
Well, perhaps I can skate in on the barest minimum requirement for "artist" since I made a couple fake book covers.

but seriously.. i have wanted to have at least one of my characters drawn, but always figured i should draw some other peoples characters first. you know.. i didn't want to look like i was dropping in for a free ride or anything.
i greatly respct the artistic community here and will be sure to become a legitimate member of it before making a character to join the SG.. i only have one on there at the moment and his name is Nefertum. a cat-guy.. (claws/regen.. surprise! lol)

hey all you crazy artists..
i was wondering what type of requirements there are for joining this SG?
do you have to have some art up on these forums (or DeviantArt) that is CoX related? or is it for anyone with a solid idea?
do character concepts have to be related to the art world to some degree?
i've been enjoying a LOT of what goes on in this part of the forums for awhile, i just never created anything to contribute anywhere. (except my recent Giggly Poof thread.. but those are simple screenshots.. and just a goofy idea)
anyhoo.. i'm interested in joining and would love to know what i should know before making a character to join this ultra-uber-super-cool SG.
