Grey's Army update.
The defenses activate and grow increasingly more difficult to battle as Kip foolishly believes he can handle the growing threat. The other denizens of Randall's base find themselves having to struggle with the new assailants as well before the tome is returned to its rightful place.

Grey's Army has updated.
Cory has Azuria take a look at the Tomes of Three Eyes in order to learn what they're capable of and to gain perspective on the identity of the Blue Druid. Together, with Cory's pupil, Michael White, they learn what it is about the books that has the Circle of Thorns so interested in Kings Row.

Basically, I'm switching to an individual story format as opposed to continuing the Grey's Army Chronicle thread. The old thread had gotten so massive and was so difficult to navigate at times, I just couldn't keep up with it anymore. I'm hoping this new approach, of having chapters that reference each other, will work better.

Kipland and Roland need to figure out what forces are available to them as they take on the last of the Independent Fake Nemeses. Many of the group's heavy hitters are in another community called Angel Falls, so they need to make do with less-known associates in their group. Fortunately, they also have a newcomer, the confident "Notorious" Johnny Nack.
