Well, Statesman did, at one time, have a wife, who was, rather conveniently, Lord Recluse's sister. She did have powers, but I can't, for the life of me, recall what they were. Probably similar to Ms. Liberty's. As for your power choice, I'd go with an electricity blaster, and flush out the whole 'Power of Zeus' thing. Or, maybe, do an illusion controller, and play an Avatar of Hera, Zeus' wife. It's really up to you.
I'm not sure if Statesman's wife Maiden Justice (Martial Arts/Super Reflex Scrapper) is deceased. In the book The Freedom Phallanx she died of cancer, however, as Lord Recluse asks Statesman about her in the comic. Robin D. Laws, author of the book got a lot of things wrong about the characters, so I'm not sure anything she wrote is cannon.
Addendum: Statesman and Sister Psyche aren't items. According to the comics, if anyone is in Sister Psyche's eye it's Manticore.
Maiden Justice seemed to bend the rules. She was kinda a martial arts/super strength/invulnerability/super reflexes scrapper. She also had the Girdle of Hera, given to her by the Furies, which supposedly channeled the power of the Greek Pantheon. It now goes by 'The Liberty Belt' worn by Mrs. Liberty, and it appears to increase her damage output and give her electrical attacks.
And then we have to assume that your character is part of Statesman's bloodline is SOME form, so all in all...
I'd probably either make a martial arts/whatever scrapper or a elec/whatever blaster. I'm not to knowledgable about hero side sets, as I am villain exclusive.

She could always just be some sort of psychotic fan-girl of the Statesman that has just gone a wee bit too far... In the face of that I could imagine any technology related power would be feasible...
How about she's a female Statesman from another dimension, and her attraction to States is just an extreme case of narcissism.

Because of this, she could be a natural or tech something, having access to funding from her husband, or perhaps a mutant, and simply hasn't publicly revelealed herself.

Hello everyone!
As you can tell, I am still very new to City of Heroes and City of Villains, with Villains being my favorite. I started playing in February and, I hate to admit it, but I AM ADDICTED! I have to play at least once ever three days!
Anyway, I have made a toon named The Statesman's Bride. But I am stumped at what the bride of the Statesman would actually do. Would she be uber tough tank and southern charm like Rogue? Would she be a defender tempest like Storm? Could she do damaging screams like Sindel/Banshee?
I know what personality she will have. I know the role-play I'll be doing... she's a Mulatto (to support love no matter what color, sex or person) and a love-triangle between the Statesman, Sister Psyche and the Statesman's Bride. But I just don't know what power(s) to give her.
Any advice?
