Nice catch. Is it possible to change the title after you've posted?

Ahh, kinda like being able to edit your post.
There happy now.

Extremely! Thanky
Cool, I didn't know you could change the name of the thread title. Uhmmmm another thing though...one of your questions asks if the person being interviewed has any "BORTHERS or sisters?" Is the word "Borthers" on purpose, or is that a typo. I've been wondering since it's on every single one of your interview postings.
doh!

Duders!!!!!
You like the RHCP!?! I saw them in albany, new york oct. 22nd.... or 21st... something like that.
I LOVE THE CHILI PEPPERS!!!!!!! I've given Mohawk a 5 our of 5 stars! You deserve it anyways. I'm sorry I'm mean all the time.
EDIT: I must say... It was really lack luster. I hadn't heard the new cd before the concert. I was still expecting something like Blood, Sugar, Sex, Magic but it turned out to be kind of... soft? I dunno, I'm still faithful to the chili peppers either way. They've made such BAD [censored] music in the past. (edit: I noticed they censored that. bad @-s-s***)
At the end of the concert, they played so well that no one left and everyone stayed and cheered until they came back. They played some OLDER songs that were coooooooooll!!!!!!!
I was so happy.
They played under the bridge, which made my brother squeel with joy. They played give it away, and some other stuff too. the majority of the show was of the new cd and Californication. The song I wanted to hear the most wasn't played and I was very disapointed, but I was very happy to be there.
I have you ever seen them? Maybe they are coming to scotland soon!

Actually, the correct spelling is in mine... because I corrected it.

The funny part is, I didn't see Bill's. So that's at least *2* that have the correct spelling.
I think I corrected most of Teldy's spelling errors in mine too.. *LOL*
Oh, all spelling errors aside, great interview yet again Teldy!!

This one is better late then never. I had sent this out during the S/VG leader week. I am glad he got it back to me. Enjoy, ask questions. comment, no flaming, have fun.
So tell me a little about your self? Your current age, where you live, etc.
Hi all, my name is John (or Jock) and I live in the North East of Scotland, I am 23 years old, just outta university and I work as a programmer for a small gaming company in the area. I have a lovely 4 hour commute each day so I really only get on CoV at the weekends and I'm sick of leveling and love PvP. My forte is maths, java. I also have to do alot of work in lua (scripting language used in World of Warcrap.) , Im currently building the AI for our mobs and also an agro system. Out of work I tend to play any sort of games, I play drums in a rock band when I can and also play the piano. I smoke and drink too much aswell, but hey I'm still young :P
Do you have any pets?
A cat named after my favourite soccer player
Do you have any borthers and sisters?
Yeah 1 of each both younger.
What is your favorite movie?
Ugh, I'm like a DVD-aholic, I can't list just 1! I-Robot, Star Wars III, FF7 Advent Children, Alien.
What is your favorite type of music?
A bit of everything - classical, rock, punk, rap, metal, recently picked up that album by the RHCP and I love it.
What is your favorite Simpson's quote?
Ugh I'm more a family guy person. And I can give you a quote - "Hello, 911? It's Quagmire. Yeah, yeah it's caught in the window this time."
So how did you get introduced to MMOs in general?
Early 2003 I checked out a trial for Star Wars Galaxies and hated it. However a few weeks later I tried it again and really got into it. Spend about a year and a bit unlocking the Force etc. then spend about 3 months of 10 hours a day (I love skipping university) spin attacking with my Lightsaber to complete my Jedi. Played SWG religiously until the first combat upgrade. At that point I went and played WoW (was a big Warcraft 3 fan) got a level 60 but realised how much time needed to be wasted in loot and went back to SWG. I also tried EQ2, ShadowBane, Guild Wars and a few others back then. Spent about 9 months PvPing for 5+ hours everyday in SWG and they had a great system where when you reached level cap you could still get more skills and enhancements however you were permenantely flagged for PvP regardless of where you were in the world.
So how did you get introduced to The City of series?
About 70% of NITES in Star wars picked up CoV due to the fact that they changed SWG for a second time. I held off as long as I could and was 1 of the last to quit SWG but eventually crumbled and bought CoV.
Who was your first character and do you still play them?
A Ninja Blade / Regen stalker that I actually thought was good for a while. Oh how naive was I? I long in about once every 3 months and go hunt for Evil Dad in Warburg ^^
What, if any, powersets would you say are your favorite?
At the moment I'm enjoying my 3rd (and final level 50 corruptor) Fire / Thermal. I have Radneto for Solo but like last 3 solo tournaments its been a /rad that has won (can you say Imba?) so from now on I'm mainly just concentrating on teams. It does suck imo that a good player using a FOTM will win 90% of the time in CoX tho :S
What is your favorite feature of the game?
PVP!!!! (Arena matches where is more about fighting than running and theres none of the boring immature smalk talk)
What was the most amazing moment you had while playing the game?
Dunno if there was a single defining moment, being the first level 50 villain on pinnacle, the first VG to complete the RSF, giving some of the best PvP guilds on the server a run for their money and winning the solo PvP tournament while the DJ was covering the event was really cool. Watching Nites climb from a top 30 SG up to rank 1. A guess a year of power leveling for 5-6 hours a day will do that lol.
What is your favorite enemy group?
ArchVillains / Heros and Players.
What is your least favorite enemy group?
Malta or Carnies, most of my toons struggle for /end as it is. I'm all about DPS, screw my end.
What is one feature you would like to see added to the game?
Live CoP - Base Raids........Guild Wars and / or World PvP.
What would you say is your greatest strength in the game?
Nites of Darkness.
What is your greatest weakness in the game?
Challenging anyone / exeryone to the arena when they insults my SG.
How bad is your badge lust?
If they don't give an accolade I wont be getting them. Two of my toons have almost 200 and thats more than enough imo.
Which ones do you like to get the most?
Ermmm. Cage Fighter is my new favourite I think. (as long as there isnt a Ice/EM in the Cage)
Any particular story arcs or contacts that you love to do? Even when you have done them a million times already?
Heh, nope, I have about 6 accounts and I love to PL (I am completely and utterly bored with the PvE in COX these days). I recently just finished "Defeat Burch and all Negotatiors" on my 50 so I can get my cape mission (which I'm still too lazy to do).
We know you guys originally came here from SWG. We all know of the drastic changes that cuased a mass exodus from the game. Though why did you all choose City of Villains?
Alot of my friends came here, sure alot of them have quit but met alot of new friends and no way do I want to go back to SWG / WoW or even grind another toon. Working as a game developer you see how grinding / badges / etc is used to get people to pay subscribtions and I guess I lost motivation for that sorta stuff. I choose CoV due to the fact there was "no loot" and I wouldn't waste my time gathering it only see it nerfed and also because I hear there were PvP base raids. (Which were alotta fun in SWG)
As someone who has come from a pvp mmo, why this one? IMO there much better ones out there?
There are.....? I am waiting to see what Fury / Warhammer / Stargate bring to the table. I know somepeople are always moaning (banichi, wicked furies, mcleish) for us to find a new game due to the lack of updates / bugs and lack of content.
Despite what people have said you guys DO know your stuff. Could you share how your VG has evolved since it started?
Dunno, we have always just worked as a team, tried to help each other, not cared about our reputation and kicked [censored] in PvP. Our leadership in CoV has changed a little but for the great players we lost we gained some new ones. We hope 1 day to join up with our guys currently playing WoW in a new game.
Any final things you would like to say to everyone before we go?
Someone tell the Dev's to nerf Nites!
But on a serious note, Nites of Darkness are availible for arena matches every weekend, we tend to run at 2PM or 7PM (EST) on Saturdays, send me a message if you want to spar.
