I'm really liking the shaded version and the background is looking great!
BTW - I feel your pain regarding the Artist SG. After vowing to finish some art worthy of posting, I got addicted to gameplay once again - just when I thought I had it under control 
I love seeing process myself, I like seeing how things change as a drawing progresses, it's a good insight on the thinking process.
As for the background, I was able to take a few screenshots of Atlas and one miraculously fit perfectly! There's some fun stuff going on in the background that will become more apparent when I ink them!
I actually spent a few hours playing Eternal Darkness, last night, another game to suck my time!!!!

Exactly what Buck said! I felt bad for not noticing you the first time I looked at it after the update, so I thought I'd mention it.
I didn't even notice at first, until I was closing the screen. Then I had to reopen it to make certain my eyes weren't playing tricks on me.

A small update I'm still playing around with the gloves, it's coming along, going to for a big push tonight, so probably won't be running with the SG...even though it's so much fun!!!!
You know. I was looking at the original. The pilot's hands look tiny in comparison to NPG's. I know it was just the rough sketch but I just wanted to make sure you know what I'm sure you already do. I'm just the kind of guy who tries to open his door at least three times before I feel confident about it being locked.
