Prophecia [First Poser Creation]
Off to a good start, I'd say!
Off to a very good start indeed. Keep them comming

You did a fine job on the costume. Did you photoshop it after the render, or paint on the texture map to link in Poser?
The hair is shadowed perfectly. You had me fooled, dynamic Poser hair couldn't have been placed any better.
You're off to a great start.

Thank you! I Photoshopped after the render. I created a nude pose, exported it as a PNG and then opened up in Photoshop and went to town. I'm not a newbie Photoshopper so that part wasn't uber hard for me. There was probably 30 different layers on this one

It's actually not Poser hair I literally found a photo online of the hair I wanted, cut it out and pasted it. I changed the color and shadowed it as best I could. (To be honest I'm the worst at shadowing. I have no sense of a lights point of origin LOL).
Thanks to all the other comments as well I may work on another character I have as well. Problem is I really have very limited knowledge of Poser hehe.

The trick to lighting in Poser, for me anyway, is to paste in the background you intend to use, and then move the PRIMARY light(s) around until the shadows on the model are aligned with the shading on the background. Fill lights and ambient light don't usually have to be adjusted unless you're going for a night scene. Those are tricky.
Of course, I've been doing perspective 'doodling' and 3D raytracing for awhile... can't draw for shyte, but I've got a good eye for perspective and composition.
"City of Heroes. April 27, 2004 - August 31, 2012. Obliterated not with a weapon of mass destruction, not by an all-powerful supervillain... but by a cold-hearted and cowardly corporate suck-up."
Very neat render! I love that you used a COH background, love the pose, everything. Thanks for sharing!
It took maybe 5 minutes in Poser to create the pose, and about 2 hours in Photoshop for the rest!
The costume is all painted on using Photoshop. The body is from Poser 7 and the hair is a cut and paste of a hairdo I found online.
This my very first time creating anything using Poser/Photoshop. I hope you enjoy it Let me know what you think!
