Which comic book artist would you love to see drawing your characters ?

I mean appart from the obviouses Brandon and David ?

If good ole Santa told you next year, 3 famous artists will draw your CoH/V for you...

Pick 3, just 3.

I would probably pick
- Stuart Immonen
- Jack Kirby
and Chris Bachalo.

Well...

For pencils, I'd probably go with Cassady (oh god, forgot his first name) or Mark Brooks. Inks, I'm indifferent. Colors, either Frank D'Armada or Dan Kemp.

I would say my main three would be:

Jim Lee (-1 point on the geekness meter )
Jack Kirby
Bob Layton

I know I've already picked, and I stand by my choices (living and dead) - but I was thinkin' ... I could've gone a totally different way:

Milton "Milt" Caniff - 'Steve Canyon' Creator
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Imageragonlady.jpg

Elzie C. Segar - 'Popeye' creator
http://lambiek.net/artists/s/segar.htm

Chester Gould - 'Dick Tracy' creator
http://www.chestergould.org/navigation/home.html

Charles "Chic" Young - 'Blondie' creator
http://www.blondie.com/

Jean "Mobius" Giraud - French comic book artist

Hergé (Georges Remi) - 'Tin Tin' creator

Right off the bat I have to agree with Spino and say Stuart Immonen. I've become a fan of him via Nextwave and his style'd work grand with my characters.

Amanda Connor http://www.amandaconner.com/ is another great artist. Ever since I saw her work in JSA Classified I was hooked =D

For the third, it's a coin toss between Jimmy Lee and Mike Mingola. Lee is the king of classic 90's action, while Mike has that simple and unique style of his.

1. Marc Silvestri
2. Jim Lee
3. John Romita Jr.

Gee, which comic do I own the most of?

"If I fail, they write me off as another statistic. If I succeed, they pay me a million bucks to fly out to Hollywood and fart." --- George A. Romero
"If I had any dignity, that would have been humiliating" --- Adam Savage
Virtue Server: Kheprera, Malefic Elf, Lady Omen, Night Rune, La Muerte Roja, Scarab Lafayette, Serena Ravensong, Kyrse, and Arachnavoodoo among others.

first of all.. great thread, Spinomania!

off the top of my head, my three choices are:

Bill Sienkiewicz
Alex Ross
Jean "Moebius" Giraud

i'm sure i could come up with others, such as Frank Miller or Dave McKean, which would be awesome as well.. but, i'll stick with my choices for now...
