I've been lurking around...

I've actually been around on these boards for quite awhile, lurking. Up till this week though I haven't posted any of my artwork (which you may or may not have seen in my "The Awesome Blast Girl" thread).

With my confidence a little higher than normal, I decided to do a couple of my MSPaint drawings of several board members of whom I could locate some reference photos....

Hope nobody gets mad that I decided to draw their character without letting you know (or if I portray them incorrectly).

From MSPaint....

Pretty sure no one's gonna care if you draw their character. And as far as portraying them wrong....I'm sure there's nothing you can do that Alex hasn't already. Looking forward to seeing more!!

Wow...just wow.

That's incredible...especially using MSPaint!

I use paint all the time for my Mini's thread, but I'm just doing sprites. I can't imagine doing what you are doing. That blur effect is crazy.

Great job!

I can't wait to see more!

...Wow

Yeah, no one will mind if you draw their character. Speedy's gonna love that pic! Awesome work, the blur effect is great!

Can never make me mad. I've had my villian drawn wearing a tutu. I didn't get the humor at the time, but I now know that it wasn't intended to be a insult. so for now on, any art of my toons will be considered art for any reason be it serious or humor.

Just as an aside. The coloring (mainly the blur effect everyone's mentioning) is done in Photoshop. I draw the outlines and get the basic colors done in MSPaint, then import it to Photoshop, up the resolution, and do the shading and effects.

Next Up:
With a cape fit for a king....
Sovereign-1!

That's the reaction I like to hear! Glad you like it!

Also, because I currently have quite a few ideas for drawings, I'll be holding off on requests for artwork. But don't fret too much, I did all 3 of these today (IE they don't take very long).
EDIT: Also, if your costume is of particular interest to me, it might get you points towards the top of that list, but it's at my discretion right now.

Next Up:

Two big shirtless brusiers....
Give it up for Roxstar and Juggertha!

Very nice man!! They are both a little thin though but good renditions nonetheless!
