Pretty sure no one's gonna care if you draw their character. And as far as portraying them wrong....I'm sure there's nothing you can do that Alex hasn't already.

With my confidence a little higher than normal, I decided to do a couple of my MSPaint drawings of several board members of whom I could locate some reference photos....

That's incredible...especially using MSPaint!
I use paint all the time for my Mini's thread, but I'm just doing sprites. I can't imagine doing what you are doing. That blur effect is crazy.
