Well looks like I didn't have too much left to do on the inking.
Engines pumping and thumping in time.
Today marks the end of my vacation so I won't have the time to devote to these that I have had. I also have taken a really close look at some of the stuff presented here and at DeviantArt. Really examining how other folks do stuff like coloring and inking. I came to the conclusion that I might be able to improve on my stuff if I really slow down and work a bit harder so that's what I'm gonna do. Thanks to everyone who commented.
Do you plan on coloring in all it's awesomeness? Just wondering if I should hold off on finishing the Time Laps.

OK here's the flats!
Normally I hate this stage but I had fun with the gradient tool and Speedy's striking costume. It's not real life accurate to be sure but hell it's comics and I like the effect.
Hey! I have a question for those more knowledgable than I. I really know nothing about firearms or ammunition. The bullets I want to draw zipping through the air are great big high caliber shells. What I don't know is what they would look like after they have been fired. Often I see these 3 inch long shells that are shaped like little missiles. You know the ones with the long copper jacket? Does that type of bullet look the same after it's been fired or is it just a slug after that devoid of the copper and the missle-like shape?
It's just the ball. What your copper, missile like shape is, is the shell casing. That contains the primer and powder that is ignited to launch the actual bullet or ball. I suppose if you were to try drawing it you'd probably be OK with just a speed line that is a little thicker at the leading end. I wouldn't put a bulb on the end or anything, just thicken the line slightly to give it some mass. Most bullets are fairly small, and even the larger caliber bullets are much smaller than you'd think.
your = Belonging to you.
you're = Contraction meaning "You are."
Ur = The name of an ancient Mesopotamian city.
ur = This is not a word.
Thanks Frosty!
Here's a color update on the face. Not entirely satisfied with the skin tone, but that can be tough for me. I'll most likely go back to that part. Really diggin' on the glasses and wings though. zoom in on the face and give me some advice if there's aspects of the color you don't like please.
Speedy!
