Best/earliest soloer?
[ QUOTE ]
Hey all, every once and a while I get this nagging urge to push a fire troller to 32 for Fire Imps. Lately I've been loving soloing invincible missions early on (approx lvl 20) with my other characters and have been wondering what the best build for me would be to roll to have the best chances of getting those imps in a timely fashion.
I've tried Fire/Storm in the past and enjoyed it up til 18 when I lost interest. I'm looking into Fire/Rad now and would like to know if this really is the be all end all troller build I hear so much about. If I can solo with it, i'll probably love it.
Thanks for any input

It's hard to get a bad set with Fire trollers despite all the DOOM heard over the last few weeks. Kin, Rad and Emp all have a good combination of buffs, self heals and debuffs (except Emp on the debuffs)
The key with any Fire/* is that you can't really count on being able to do much damage UNTIL you reach the mid 30's Until then you'll need Air Sup, Flurry, Sands of Mu, etc to keep your damage going if you really want to solo.
post 32 fire is fine with just imps.. especially fire/rad or fire/storm, its slow end endpiggish before SOs and really all the way until you get all your toggles slotted for end reductions.
i would say the best solo'er all teh way through is any mastermind. you dont have to worry about end in the low levels and your pets get in inherent bonus to acc and dmg just by you being there. you rarely die so debt isnt as much of an issue also. thats my pick

Yeah, but they just don't have that oomph until 33 or 34 and you've got some slots in Imps.. then they fly and post 40 weeeeee.
I was going to stay away from other ATs because even though the title doesn't specify, the body seemed to indicate Fire trollers only... but since you started it *eg*
MM's are good for soloing for obvious reasons. On the hero side there are a few good builds out there. Energy/* Blasters on the hero side make for some wild solos. I set the diff on my Nrg/Nrg at Unyielding at level 2 and never looked back.
Of course we all know that said energy blaster can also be a pox upon any team if played badly.
The topic is about Fire/ trollers, thus the posting of it in a Controller forum.

Woah ho there buddy, don't get smart with me. I was the one saying we should keep it on topic to Fire Trollers.
AND YOU POSTED IT IN PLAYER GUIDES! NOT CONTROLLERS!

No problem, being tired and sick may have added more venom to that post than intended.
