Yeah it's fine. I don't want it to be a popularity contest either so I'm dropping.
Well let's just look at my position here.... I was gonna pretty much originally select 12 guys and pay for the whole thing. Boom. But arbitrarily deciding who was in and who wasn't seemed a little trashy to me at the time, so I opened the idea of voting - and kept in mind that I was still paying for the bulk, as an assumption. But I also was running with the assumption that I'd be IN the piece. 
You don't have to pay - especially if you didn't get voted on, because that'd be totally unfair. Don't worry about that anyone. I am taking *donations* - I was in a (censored) mood earlier, I'm not *demanding* anything, kk? *smacks me*
I don't want anyone to back out, it's not really fair - especially since there were other guys that if you DID back out, would still be higher on the ranks than my stuffs. and besides TA... is...yummeh.

How about this?
Take the number of people who put up screenies to be in it, divide by the number of months, and put that many characters into each month. More beefiness per month.

No popularity contests for me. I'm not signing up for this kind of thing again. Next time I'll just save my pennies and do my own thing.
There are many amazing people in the game of COH but, sometimes there are people like Zekiran who go the extra distance to bring excitement and fresh ideas to our gaming experience...in and outside the game. It is these actions that promote "community" and "friendship" in City of Heroes that NO other MMO can and will ever offer. So please...thank people like Zekiran for all the extra they add to your gaming experience.

Tell that to the griefer jerk that came through KR the night we were playin in the art sg. It'd be real nice if people could pay everything forward, but even then it wouldn't take away the jerkoffiness of some folks.

It's my opinion that voting for only one person for a 12 month calendar was kind of one sided and unfair to those of us who didn't receive either any votes or only 1 their own. That's why I kept encouraging people to vote for 12 or more. yes, I'm a little ticked off that so many people slid in and voted by simply restating the same names over and over instead of actually giving the other folks a chance and a click. Democracy it aint', popularity contest, apparently it is.
