Hi all.

I was wandering if some one could help me, or actually design a Hero for me. No matter how hard I stare and think I can't find a costume...

Hes going to be a Broadsword/Invul scrapper, good luck and any theme is welcome.

Yeah, knowing something about the character helps
(And while I don't have a BS/Inv, I do have a Spine/Inv.... I think the "don't take it" is either feeling nerfed or remembering having no END....)

Don't listen to people who tell you not to take a power without giving you a legitimate reason. A lot of people dislike /Invulnerability because they can no longer shrug off the damage they used to after ED hit. I, on the other hand, love it. With it properly slotted, you can go toe to toe with some of the toughest bosses and Villains in the game! True, it's only real weakness is against Psychic damage, but to me, that's a small price to pay.

Anyway, this thread isn't about what people think about a power set. If you post your character's bio, (or PM it to me), I might be able to come up with something for you.

Play what you want, without letting people tell you what to play.

Or... Were you looking for a complete creation including background? .... From what you say right now the only restriction I see is that you want a male hero.... Or would you mind a female one?

A few concepts, by origin:

Magic -
The sword is possessed of an ancient will bent upon destruction. Its owner, a veteran of the WWI, is supernaturally preserved by its dark powers but attempts to use it for good despite its urgings. He knows that all he needs to do to release himself from the curse is to give the sword to another, but he's a good man and is afraid that the sword might overwhelm a new wielder entirely. Looks like a shabby Victorian gentleman with timeless tired eyes.

Mutant -
Local high-schooler who was caught in a crossfire between The Family and Tsoo during a field trip. He was shot 32 times but instead of dying his body absorbed the metal of the bullets, using it to repair his organs. He learned that any injury could be healed if he consumed metal...and if he consumed enough, he could become a man of pure metal. And that's what he is today - made of metal, and able to 'excrete' it from his hands in the shape of a sword and axe (ghost axe). Looks like a man of pure, shining metal with some crunchy metallic accents.

Natural -
He is the disciple of one of the world's best swordsmen, a grouchy old Spaniard. He was chosen for training because of the amazing physical talent he displayed as locally famous ballet dancer. Yes, a male ballet dancer blade master. The /inv actually represents his uncanny ability to parry and deflect almost any incoming attack. Imagine a shining, spinning blade. He's not a hero in a traditional sense; what drives him is quest for perfection. A thin man who dresses simply for maximum movement. Black bodysuit, domino mask and head scarf. Like Zorro, with a superhero flair.

I could keep going, but you get the idea.

It's not ED that did INV in though it sure helped. It was Statesman gutting INV's resistances to all but s/l and leaving the psi hole that did INV in. INV's saving grace is invincibility. It's worse on a scrapper where the passives are hardly noticeable as to the level of resistance they give you.

I've got an inv/stone tanker and had a spines/inv scrapper. I ditched the scrapper and kept the tank but don't get nearly the satisfaction from playing the tank like I used to.

That being said the set can be played as can any set in this game. If the OP enjoys the bs/inv then that is awesome.

Eh I dont RP often so my Bio would just be sort of eye candy for others, so I never even think of it. This is kind of a test also, to see if I even like this set to 16.
