You've never posted any drawings here, I wouldn't know.
It's not that hard, just go somewhere with a scanner, and get a dA account. www.deviantart.com. 
THat's a whole lotta pink So how well does she do with fur? *wink* Hehehe j/k though that was a really nice kitty she drew. She should totally get a DA account! :P I'll put her on my watch list! :P

Tell your mother she has no reason to be hesitant about showing her work, in fact, I think the rest of us will be terribly disapointed if you don't show us any other pictures that she does. Both pieces look fantastic!
