I can't tell what's going on...

I think that Spade has whooped some villanous dude (plus spider bot in the back) but ghost widow has shown up. It's a tough angle for Ghost Widow, because while I, the viewer, want to see her face, I also kinda feel she should be lookin' at spade if she is challengin' him.

I really like the concept, though, it's like a panel straight outta a comic boook.

agree with Serengeti here about the action in the scene...I like this one a lot ~

Hrm, looks as if Spade (the fella with the spade on his chest I'm guessing) has either whooped up on Wretch or found Wretch all whooped up on and is lamenting his whooped state and good ol' GW just came a crusin' on in, a bit amused at Wretches demise and Spades distress ('cause she likes stuff like that). Of course, that's just my guess.

Though, Alex, great work so far. I have been gaining several levels of love for that ghost and I can't wait to see what you do with her. Beyond her, I love the perspective of this piece as well as the strong (yet vague) story that is being told. I can tell that there is most definitely a story, but it seems to be open to a bit of interpretation (a good move... makes people wonder, and we all like a bit of wonder in the world... even if the bread is a bit fluffy and gets torn if you try to spread cold butter on it).

isnt it obvious? spade and wretch were playing tag and ghost widow comes along and lets one rip. they look up at her so she looks away and pretends she has no idea what theyre talking about. unfortunately the evidence is right next to them... it was such a horrid smell that it caused the spiders lungs and several other internal organs to disintegrate.

seriously though very nice!

Hhhahaha, you guys are great, I knew about the problem with Ghost Widow not looking at Spade, but I was so in love with that pose that I did not want to change it no matter what!!!!!!

So I slept on it, and this morning around 5:30am or so, the words of Serengeti Lord echoed in my semi-state of consciousness......"it's like a panel straight outta a comic boook"

Panel, comic book, duh! so I fixed it! I'm still gonna use that Widow pose for something, but here is the revised layout!

Revised Layout, now with less ambiguity, maybe...

oooo, much better there! GW's face is great (and fun to do as you, no doubt, have discovered )... The "panel' idea is a good one, glad you latched on to it. Definitely can't wait to see this one done!

Yes. Sorry about that. It's a great piece of art. To my eyes (without looking back at the other one), it appears a major adjustment you've made is straightening Spade a little, or maybe it's bringing Wretch a little closer so Spade doesn't look so bent. In EITHER case, and even if there's nothing there and it's all in my head, I really like the effect whatever you did has on Spade's attitude. He seems a little less "oh crap" and a little more "who's next". As always, extremely well done!

I really like it ... nice and sharp. One thing though, if this is to be a piece about Spade ... I find the attention is alot on GW atm. Now that you have her face in a little bubble on the bottom right, you may want to add his face in the upper left which would make his expression clearer and balance out the attention. (yeah I know it would hide the spider a bit but I think that would be ok too) Just an opinion. The piece will be great either way.
