First go around with Photoshop
[ QUOTE ]
So I just recently got photoshop and have been slowly (ok very slowly) learning how to do some nifty things with it. I just learned how to make a cool firey effect and also how to crop out the background from other pics. So i decided to put the two together and this is the out come. I plan to add more things to the background like a burning building or something to that extent but to make it less plane. But the the most part I like it.

Very nice, but one problem... It looks like the fire is showing through her skin, is that intentional?
Thank you very much ^_^.
And it wasn't really intentional, but I wanted it to have like a glow off fire on her skin and for my skill level right now that was the best i could do. But you are right it does look alittle odd.

Ah, if you want a glow, go into filters, and there are lots of glows and stuff you can do there.
It's at the top.
Ah, thanks very much Derek!

You're welcome!
I'm an amateur with Photoshop myself.
PS. How did you do that fire thing? >.<
My secret...not really i did a search online. I figured i would follow other peoples direction and get a feel for the program before i try something and mess up. Click Here And if your using Phtoshop 7.0 one of the direction is to use the crome filer whitch the person says in under Stylize and for photoshop 7.0 its under Sketch.
But yeah thats where i got it. I tried it with a biger canvas and it didnt turn out as good, so i would say stick with something small.

Ummm... What the heck is with your link?
If you look at the web address after you click it, it's like forever long.
And by the way, the link doesn't work.
