I can tell you from demo editing that the wings go in the same spot as the cape would - there is no way to put them both on.
My PB is getting wings <,< rawr! They were always in Skycat's plan <'x'>b now I'll actually get to add them >_<!

Capes, trench coats, backpacks and wings are all in the Back options. You can't have a trench coat and a cape nor can you have wings and a cape. I can't remember where or when, but I'm pretty certain a redname said so
