Well, everyone else is, so I figured I would do it, too. I couldn't fit all of it on the the scanner, so just know... there's a little more around the edges.

So, here's my Gill and Lush WIP

Critiques are very appreciated.

EDIT: For a new link with hopefully a more managable size.

Wow! That's looking really cool!!

Is there any way you could resize it a little bit? The thumbnail is a bit too small, but the full-view is SO HUGE I'm having trouble making out what it is XD

hehe, yeah, I noticed that after putting it up... for some reason my scanner has like two sizes, and one is frikkin' huge, and the other is itsy bitsy.

I'ma resize it for sure.

Ok, the link should be better now.

I hope.

You miiiight wanna make Lush's chin just a bit more pointy. With it so bulbous it kind of looks a little mannish >_>

I really like all the detail though! This is going to look cool!!

That's a good idea Star. I have such a problem with faces. Mainly not knowing how to draw them.

Thanks, Juggy!

I'll post more... when... uh.. I've done it.

Hey, looking pretty good so far! And, ya, what Radey said as well.

One other thing you might wanna look at (I don't know if it's too late to change now or not) is the ear placement.

On Ol' Gill, the ear is way too far forwards. It's actually sitting where, if he had sideburns, said sideburn would be. The ear starts right behind the jawbone. Check it out on your own face. So, move that ear a bit back and your be good.

I would say the same for Lush, but possibly not. The sternocleidomastoid muscle (that muscle that attaches to the color bone and goes up to the side of the head making that nice inverted triangle on the neck that everyone is so fond of drawing) connects to the skull right behind the jaw and it a strait pointer to the ear (where it ends, the ear begins). On lush, the sternocleidomastoid muscle ends just behind her ear, so you could probably stand to either bring it forwards or knock the ear back.

Heh, I guess I'm on ears today... still great work and I love the good solid shading it has so far.
