New work

I studied a new technique in shading, and I really like how this turned out. It's a little dark, but its kinda hard to work with a character that insists on wearing all black Again, this is my main, and lvl 50 Dark/Dark Scrapper.
Thanks for looking! Constructive criticism is always appreciated.

Oh, very nice. I can see him lurking/hiding in the shadows then jumping out and scaring the bejeebus out of someone!

I like it...

...although I think it could be better with a piece of highlighting here and there...but thats more a matter of personal taste than anything.

please post more work...I would love to see more from ya ~

hey thanks for the crit! The more I look at it, the more I see wrong with it, lol. You're right though. Adding a few more highlights would bring out the form better. It's hard to work with an all black character

indeed it is...I like the look thus far though. thinking that with some subtle lil changes this could really be great though. in the end though...its all what you are looking for in a piece versus the masses...

anywho...it is a good piece and I like the tone over all...and as I said before, should post more work for us greedy/demanding forumites ~

Muy Bueno! +watched

The piece looks interesting. Interesting to the point that I really want to make out the detail of the figure and the costume. Maybe highlight a bit more to bring out what makes him unique. Shadows are cool and all, but I think the best use of them is the gradient in shade from light to absolute darkness.

GREAT technique! You keep the shading consistent with the source of illumination! Bravo on the shading technique and good proportions in your figure's anatomy.

Hey Majesty,
thanks for the crit! I really really appreciate it! I gotten a lot of good feedback on that first piece, it really is too dark. If i ever find time, I'll probably color it over. Thanks for the compliments on Genkai too ^^

I haven't posted in here FOREVER, been caught up with an animation project (a 3d superhero parody coming to youtube this spring ^^ ) My lovely sg has been on my butt to post this stuff, despite the fact that it isn't really coh related...here goes

a response to an art challange i did piece with an oversea's friend, he picked the theme
Jaws

My favorite DC comic's character is "Ragman" and as it ends up, Dark Archiaic's costume is based heavily on his. I plan on cleaning up and coloring this one.
Ragman

part of the 100 theme challenge, and a great excuse to draw bruce campbell
"trouble lurking"

finally, something COH...i sketched up a comic the other day about me and my esteemed fellow scrapper, CR0W, making a poor choice to try to sneak up on Tremmor
"sneak attack"

i'll be posting a lot more..working on a TA piece right now..ill post concept as i go..(not too much...don't wanna give it away )
