I'd still include it man. Whether we like it or not, most of our stuff is based on another's (even if it is subconscious).
As for the GOGGLES, I'd try to add them and play aroundwith their shape if ya can. Just MHO.
I like it ^^ and there's nothing wrong with styling things after someone else - I mean, that's why artists have something called "influences" right?
Thats why when we compare bands we have a natural reaction to say "they sound like <insert band> with a little bit of <insert other band>" - as long as you're making it your own in the end, there's nothing wrong with it.
As for the goggles... honestly if you don't like em, I'd personally leave em off - but then I'm big on taking small liberties with costumes to get a bettter scene >.> which may or may not be a good thing.

Hi all,
This one would be my entry for the MMOART.com fan art contest when finished. I think I scored a "pass" to show it to the forum.
Notes to self.
1. Need to finish the background. Add stars.
2. Face should look more mad and painful. Now it looks odd. Maybe re-work on the pupils.
3. Still need a good white dwarf pic for reference.
4. Maybe add tentacles to white dwarf's back, but still not decide.
5. BUY A SCANNER!!
Reason this pic should be disqualified.
1. Forgot the googles. I initally want to add it, but it blocks the eyes and face. I loves how it comes out, so no more googles.
2. This pic is based on my favorite manga artist Kazushi Hagiwara's work. Stealing other's idea = cheap cheap.
