Doc Boy and Graviton Girl

Just posting these in a seperate thread to see if I can get more critiques. *shrugs* Worth a shot.

So here is Graviton Girl . For some reason, the darn pic won't get any bigger, on DeviantArt or Photobucket. This is the first time I darkened (Didn't really 'ink' cuz' I did it with a black pencil) the details of a drawing.

And here is Doc Boy . This was the first time I colored a piece.

So please, if you have the time, any critiques or feedback would be cool...Trying to improve for each drawing I do! Thanks much!

I think on Graviton Girl you should have the arms going toward us rather than down. More of a 'Superman' type of flight, y'know. Also, it seems she's flying a bit upwards, therefore, the cape should be flowing downwards... But I'm being really nitpicky. Nice job on those.

graviton...I really like the pose. big kudos for venturing beyond the standard full body shot. I would look at either fists upfront flying or you could have them cocked at her sides slighty...like she's clenching up going into a fight...

doc boy. dont be afraid to give him a chin...as is kinda just blends into his neck.~

I recommend you use IrFanView or something, and crop those pics. :P They're probably much too big. Resize to around 800 or 1024 for standard web resolutions. :P

...actually thats a good point. most pics shown should be cropped...unless there is a bunch goin on around the figure itself....no reason to show us tons of plain white paper...
this also applies to screen shots taken. no need to show us the surrounding city in game...just the character itself will do...~
