I just hope that they will be available from level 1. Earning a cape makes sense, earning wings does not. You have them or you dont, they dont just sprout spontaneously. They do look very cool.
A great chunk of my original characters have wings in some form or another. Funny tho', I don't think any of my characters converted for City of X were supposed to have wings. Anyway.
What I find funny about animated wings is.. the flying feathers! I mean, I love wings, yay, but are flying characters always moulting or something?

I'm a little surprised to see Wings as a Vet Reward, I sure hope they are for the first 3 months so I can actually get them and finally make Pendragon and The Screech Owl the way I always dreamed them to be.

I'm kinda glad they're a vet reward.....means I'll only see half of CoX with wings.

Hmm... not sure how I feel about them as a vet reward... not *upset* about it too much; because unless they're the three year reward I'll amost assuredly have them ( my current account will be a year old as of October; my old account would be almost 3 but... err... well I'll not go into that explanation again).
The angel wings are super-pretty >.< I'm very happy with them; especially the droppy feathers >,<

I wonder if there will be any graphical candy for the demon wings?
And seeing that the wings are an option taking the place of capes, I wonder if it will be a veteren reward *and* require level 20 to get.

I suspect not - I think being a veteran reward might override the level 20 requirement. Plus I doubt they're as taxing as capes are on the system >.> (And I'm pretty certain Trenchcoats were confirmed long ago as being level 1 available)

This indirectly confirms my guess that when you get hit, feathers fall off. Much like would happen if someone hits a tree, leaves fall off.
The harder the hit, the more feathers. I'd bet.
