You can take a crack at farwielder if you like.

BTW hes a guy. That suit, as neat as it looks, I think makes him look like a chick.Farwielder

He doesn't really look like a chick, but imo the only thing that kinda make him look like it is his legs. The colors looks like stockings...i think. But im pretty sure thats it, is his legs. Make them all one color and you'll be find.

Hey, you're on the road to improvement already!

If the eyes are glowing, I'd reccomend sketching a *very light* glowing effect around each eye. Be careful and light with this, as erasing it could be tricky if you mess up. If you don't want to risk it, it'd probably be better to save the quality of your pic and not start it. Perhaps get a scrap sheet of paper first and practice eyes and their glows before starting on this one?

Also, here's a tip to clean up your pics: If you're opening your pics up in Photoshop after you scan them, go to Edit at the top, then Adjust > Levels. Play around with the three sliders at the bottom, and some of the lighter smudges should disappear with some tweaking. Usually taking the right-most slider and dragging it slightly to the left will do the trick. I use this all the time because I write/draw with a pencil with my knuckles against the paper.

Whenever I'm done with a piece, I'm "Blackhand."

How do I get this Photoshop? I have Adobe Photoshop Album Creator but it doesn't have any sliders when I pull up the pic. of BAS.

Thnx!

Don't sweat it if you don't have Photoshop. The thing's expensive.

Ah, ok...I will do my best to erase thoroughly, but the scanner picks up SO much that even I don't see.

So, as practice, I drew a portrait of Aurora Frost. Just like BAS, I would really appreciate feedback so I can fix it and revise it. Also, the thread has been renamed 'BAS' Drawings'. Thank you for your feedback and support so far.

Aurora Frost

Lol, she is horrible...

It's mostly basic body structure things here and there. I think you'd do a lot of good to check out this site.

So anyone else got some feedback?

Horrible, maybe, but keep at it; you'll get better!

What I tend to do when I'm seriously drawing is look at a picture of something else, look closely at how the lines flow on it, then try and do what the picture has. Works decently well for me; though I'm not a really good drawer.

I know her face is fat, and her neck down, could also use a lot of work...Uggh...I wanna' draw like people here but I will NEVER get that far...I mean, you guys can draw actual POSES!!! AND without looking at a picture! I can't even do a different pose WHILE looking at a picture...Anyone know a real good book for semi-basic/beginner superhero drawing?

Hey, don't be so hard on yourself! You're still learning and improving. Keep practicing and take any advice those on the boards here can offer (they'll give you lots of good advice!). And I know the one I read most often on the boards and that I think is the best advice is PRACTICE. Keep working on it, don't give up! If you give up, you won't get better. I'm glad you liked Aurora well enough to draw and I offer her and vine up for any more practice you wish. (And her face isn't fat, its retaining water! )

Besides, even with faults its still better than I could draw.

Lol...I started working on drawing one of my alts, Yesmina Glint (in Akimbo pose) today (The first day of school ) and I have her neck down, done. I will do her head and then revise her so she will prolly' be up by the end of the week...after that I think I will try to tackle my other alts, Diamond's Ace, Bad to the Bones, and Alpha Impact...I'll get back to y'all when I think I will have them done.

Have a good one,
