Thanks, TA. What's a business without good customer service?

It's all good. I figure the first was kind of a 'rough sketch' - it's yours to show as you like. Since you only requested a single image, however, you'll only get a poster of the second one... I'll keep the wide-format version hostage.

Cool. Job completed. Now... who was next on my list?
*flips through the pages of requests...*
*bounces hopefully!*
Honestly DJ, I dig 'em both! It was cool to read all the feedback (good stuff all) and see how you implementerd it. Sometimes when we work on a piece for a while, things can get lost in the big picture. Great work.

Could almost be like one of those motiviational posters but I can't think of a catch phrase :P

"To reach the summit, patience, perseverance, and... oh my god, HEADS UP!"
or
"Patience and perseverance are the tools needed to reach the summit, but powers of pure darkity darkness are needed to hold on to it"
or, if your into a pessimistic work place that will keep the wage slaves in line
"No matter how high you climb, there's always someone higher waiting to knock you back down"
And in all seriousness,
DAMN FINE FIX THERE! To echo the choir, the dark miasma effects are a GREAT addition. They add great visual interest, dirty things up, and tie in AoT's powerset. That and they are just beautiful!
And TA's pose is much better. The more exaggerated perspective on him is excellent and really hammers home the feeling of death from above Love his boots too, them boots was made for stompin'!

Very nice work, DJ. Definitely a step up from the #1. Only one thing that looks a little odd to me is the way the Nemy staff looks. Seems a bit cartoony, compared to the rest of it.
But that's just my 2 insp. If TA likes it, that's all that matters.

Actually, I think that's the caption to the TA piece...
Those renders are beautiful.
Two words.
Holy crap.
I used to keep track of my levels here.
But I got to 50.
Well I am really happy with the vertical format Doug, I think it came out much better and that allowed for more of a 'pop' to the piece. As others have stated I love the rolling dark fog and the electricity arching. Very sweet looking effects!!
The pose looks alot more dynamic also and it shows alot more interaction and urgency to each of the characters. You should be proud of this one man!!
I wanted to thank Doug for his great patience and for wanting to make it the piece we were going for. Even though he had to do 2 seperate pieces he's remained very composed and a true professional!! Always a pleasure to work with!! Thank you for a true masterpiece brother!
TA
p.s Don't think I am not putting the second one in my gallery though!
