Hey Foo! If you're still doing trades I wouldnt mind, though mine arent of any quality youd want to keep (mostly cause I have to take the picture of them with my webcam, no scanner).
Anyways, regardless I did Maiden Light for some practice. Here she is.

Pencisl for a commission I've just finished working on: Molly and Phoenix - WIP!
So....one of them is really really huge and one of them is really tiny? I would love to see these two running around in game!!! 
I Love the detail in the armor, and I REALLY love the faces, but something about their sizes look off. Even if the one in back is supposed to be a giant it just doesn't....feel right. (plus it looks like the one in front is grabbing her butt )
Edit: I got it, they're both standing on almost the same line. And it's looking kinda awkward to me.
I really really like the poses (especially the kicking one, her heels look great!). And the legs are awesome!!! I can't wait to see it finished!!
Yeah, one's an adult, the other is a teen. I've got them on the same plane 'cos I wanted the smaller one sort of stepping over the bigger one's leg, emphasising the ease with which they fight together.
Awkward wasn't the goal, though.
I'll try bringing the feet forward, and adding some shadow.
(Maybe she IS grabbing her butt!)

Sure, I'll trade pics, although I got to this thread a bit late... 
I'm really liking how it's turning out so far. Very nice action lines, and I think it does give a good feel of how we work and fight together. This is the player of Molly by the way, the kicking one. For those interested, both of us are full body cyborg MA stalkers (on Virtue). Molly is Phoenix's student, and we often do wind up fighting in close proximity like that. Which leads to some very fun cinematic moments since we both have almost identical move sets. I do think the poses show this off well.
The only nit I would pick here would be the already mentioned size. We should have given you a side by side comparasion of our two characters. Phee is not that tall really, Molly is only about half a head smaller than she is. Judging from their respective crouches, it looks like if both were standing at ease, Phoenix would be about a full head taller than Molly from those scales.

Hey Foo. Looking at the picture, there is something I am noticing now that I am hearing of it, and looking. The size seems a slight bit off. Also, something about Molly's torso. Perhaps its the angle and without shading to show the forshortening and whatnot ,but there is something off that I can't quite place.
Edit : I see what it is now. My eye is taking into consideration Molly's backside/thigh as a extension of her torsos length in that pose. Now that I realize what I was doing, it looks fine now. Just the size does look off as I am looking at it more.
Yes, her pelvis is quite forward in the pic. Before I added the plating it seemed more obvious.

I'll try to indicate that more clearly with the inks. That's what I get for going with such a challenging pose, I guess!
Also: Did I make Molly too small compared to Phoenix? I should be able to grow her a bit if that's the case.
I think thats what it is Foo. Molly seems a bit on the short side in the pictures. Her body seems much smaller as I look at it, and as she posted, Molly's player agrees.
Just a bit from looking at the picture, as best I can tell from their poses. She is a lot thinner (since she never got the overbody 'skin' applied to her cyborg body, so that's good. If it's a judge, Phoenix is about 5'8-9" and Molly is about 5'2" tall.

OK, so I got the size stuff straightened out and after a hellish couple of days at my real job (*weepweep*), I will be finishing up the inks on a couple of pieces SOON™, after which I will be starting work on a pet project of my own that I will share with all of you fine people!
