Hi Base - I was just checking on Th Guardian's progress since I sent him over here from Player Questions.
Just FYI an underscore "_" is not read by the game, it only serves to make actually reading the stuff easier. So you could use petsay_name or pet_say_name or petsayname or pet_sayname or p_e_t_s_a_y_n_a_m_e or however you find it easiest to read.
Ah, good to know. I knew I had seen it both ways, but I wasn't sure if it was two commands or not.

To reiterate my previous post, as of I13 a lot of the petsay chat commands are broken.
So if you try combining multiple chats/emotes and it doesn't work, it's probably broken. This all happened when they allowed item linking and copy/paste in the chat boxes. Yes, it's a bummer. No, it isn't likely to get fixed anytime soon.
Tech Support Rule #1 - They will lie to you. Usually intentionally.

Something rattling around in my mind says the Bind might not work right, but the line-command and Macro should.
Basically the format is:
/(or /macro [name] or /bind [key])petsay (or petsay_all, petsay_name, etc.) <em [emote]>(optional)[text]
With quote marks as necessary.
