That’s right, in the wake of yesterdays amazing announcement about the first use of MoG, the “Save the MoG” Foundation is ready to present you with another amazing use for this power.
That’s right, 2 uses in 2 days!
This new application is perfect to get a little revenge on those smart as healers who have been making jokes at your expense, saying how they are the only thing keeping you off the floor.
Now you can give them a heart attack and sit there an laugh as they impotently watch you die, and waste their end in the process.
Yep, the Amazing Moment of Insanity can give you this power.
Simply click the button and watch your health drop. After the recovering from the initial heart attack of watching your health drop out of nowhere the healer will cockily try and heal you with the usual “Why am I always saving you [censored]…”
Then enjoy their frantic reaction as they futilely spam their heals at you in an attempt to make the red bar green again and waste their end bar.
ONce their blue bar is gone you can happily walk into a mob and quickly die, and start [censored] at the healer for not healing you .
The healer will then try and make excuses, but listen to none of it.
And thus Moment of Glory has given you revenge on those cocky healers.

That’s right. MoG is the power that has an amazing array of uses.
Today’s use is the pinnacle of achievement for a hero.
All heroes must die. It is only a matter of time. What distinguishes the heroes is the manner in which they eat the payment. Even a heroic death, if too common, dilutes the purpose of such a death.
“Hammidon one shotted me”
“The Envoy of Shadows wiped our entire party”
“Damn, those guys chain stunned me to death”
“Facken Tyrant made me his b*tch”

Too common. Where is the glory in these deaths if another heroes has the same tale?
What your hero needs is a Spectacularly Inconceivable Death (SID)
And you guessed it, MoG can make it happen!
MoG can take those routine aspects of being a hero and turn them into a unique death experience for you.
Fighting so Tsoo? Hit MoG and get 1-shotted by a Caltrop! Hammy stories pale in comparison.
Surrounded by a pack of monkeys? Use MoG and waste ‘em, and get dropped by the foul smell they leave behind. Envoy wipe has got nothing on that death
Spores DoT not scary enough? Boom, MoG can spice it up. Hit MoG after getting Spored and you’ll be lying in the grass in no time. Chain stun that!
DE Swarms not enough of a challenge? Pop MoG and get stung to death like you were allergic. Take that Dead-by-Tyrant guy

With the Amazing Moment of Gimp’s SID effect, all manner of otherwise unachievable Spectacularly Inconceivable Deaths can be yours.
Your tales of glorious demise will be the envy of all others.
You alone will be able to top the “I was batting 3 AV’s +5 to me, and was holding my own till I got disconnected and logged back in dead”
Simply counter with your “Phiff, so what. Yesterday I used MoG and got killed by a Spines Protector’s unclassified DoT!”

Yep, MoG is the power that keeps on giving. Just when you thought MoG has run out of uses, another one surfaces.

How many times have you been street hunting, and found yourself far from the trams? Maybe you are even at the back of a hazard zone and need to return to the city. In the go-go world of MMO’s travel time is wasted time, and we can’t have that.
Wouldn’t it be nice if with the click of a button you could return to a safe point in the city? Instantaneous travel, think of the time saved!
And I am sure you have guessed it, with MoG this instantaneous zone crossing teleport can be yours!
Simply activate MoG (Magically Opened Gateway:Hospital) and walk into the nearest group of enemies. You’ll get your free trip to a nice safe hospital in no time, and you’ll be close to the tram to boot.
Tired of your porting and SS friends beating you in races? Simply use MoG-port and you will leave them in your dust.
Have to make a selling run, but you are waaaay out in the Crash Site? Forget about crossing that zone, and then Crey’s just to get to Bricks- who has the time for that? Evil doesn’t wait on the hero. Simply pop a MoG-port and get there in the blink of an eye, and return to saving the coty that much quicker.
You will be the envy of te h ub3r l33t d00ds who are forced to use one of the gimpy travels powers to move around.

Remember, MoG-port: the ONLY way to travel

There is a dark shadow that lurks around the edges of this game, manipulating heroes, and altering their actions. The fear caused by this often allows villains to run free, unopposed by heroes. This binding shadow is the evil Debt. Debt, or more accurately the fear of it, keeps heroes from doing everything they can to protect the city from the evil that threatens to envelope it.
“Dude, we can’t take them, that group is purple”
“Man, I don’t care if they are beating an old lady, that lead scorch is going to own us”
“No, I don’t think the two of us should attack that DE boss who is +30 to us”
“Are you nuts? You can’t hunt in PI at level 3 without a sidekick!”
So much crime is allowed to happen because we heroes fear defeat. Our own safety and lack of debt is what motivates us, not the good of the city
If only there was a way to completely remove this fear of debt.

Now there is. With the click of a single button all fear of debt goes away and we are free to be heroes again.

And that power is MoG
After using MoG once or twice you will begin to notice that you no longer gain debt! Soon it will reach a permanent level of debt, and you are free to serve the city without fear, with worrying about how much debt you will gain from the next fight. Life becomes simpler, and the city safer.
MoG is the power that can remove all fear from the game, making it much more enjoyable.
Want to try soloing Hammidon using Brawl? Hit MoG and go for it.
Think you can take those 3 +10 Devoured ? MoG, then hit them bishes
Monster Island in PI look like a fun place for a scrapper train? Pop a MoG and round em up partner!
A group meeting of 30 Master Illusionists? Time to grab your buddy MoG and crash the party!

Free from the fear of debt when dying, the entire game becomes your playground, and everything becomes levels of fun you could only dream of. There is nothing you fear to try, and a hero without fear is a truly powerful force

Remember- Say it with MoG. Because when you are at the Debt Cap, you got nothing to lose

There are tonnes of powers that are good on their own. We see them everyday. But then there are special powers. Powers that not only have a variety of uses of their own, but powers that can also make other powers better. Nothing is better than an already great power making other, seemingly crappy powers, useful rather than situational.
Such catalyst powers are rare, for the Devs fear the power they could provide.
One slipped through their grasps however, and one of the most powerful catalytic items made it into the game.
The Almighty MoG!
That’s right, MoG, the power with a myriad of uses of its own, also makes other powers better too!
Your defender buddy upset because he never gets to use his awe inspiring fallout? Grab MoG and his previously useless power is now useable every battle!
Tired of watching those Nemesis Lt’s dropping Vengeance left right and centre? Combine your own Vengeance with MoG and you can turn the tables on them! How do you like them apples Mr. Sgt Major?
Not getting enough use out of Mutate? Resuscitate? Resurrect? Find your friendly neighbourhood MoG’er and your powers have purpose again. Rez’s for everyone.
Don’t like using Howling Twilight to Disorient if there is no one to rez too? MoG it, and your inhibitions no longer apply.
Accidentally took revive, or have too many awakens and don’t know how to delete them? It’s MoG time baby! Each time you go down you’ll bounce right back up, ready to do it again, till the mobs get bored and go away!

You can even string these powers together combos! Death by MoG, then Fallouts and Vengeances hit. Mutate, then hit MoG again. Time for a second round of Fallouts and V-Buffs! Your team will be unstoppable!
Taking a run at Hammy? Send in a wave of MoG’ers to lay the ground work for a Hammy slamming Fallout barrage, then send it the Vengeance fuelled team mates. Victory is yours!

Situation powers gain a whole new purpose when MoG is in town. Your make everyone around you able to use their fully array of powers; you will be the crux of every great team, your MoG being the starting point of all their strategies. Uberness will be yours, and your team will love you for it.

MoG- Making situational “Need a dead hero” powers usable with the click of a button!

Are you tired of those situations where your team won’t start until they find X class of Y type? Are you stuck on a solo mission and need help, but hate teaming with others? Do you sometimes wish that one character could provide the benefits of an entire team all by itself, thus making the game so much easier? Such is the dream.

And now he dream can be achieved, with the amazing MoG!

That’s right using Me is Own Group (MoG) you can combine all the archetypes into one body!

With the push of a button you gain stuns like controllers, buff like defenders, the health and survivability of a blaster and the weaknesses of a tank!

Use MoG and your health is dropped to below blaster levels-time to live as the blasters do, but with the added benefit of being in melee range. Who is a glass cannon now?

Tired of watching all your Inv tank friends get one shotted by untyped/psi damage when their Unstoppable drops? Jealous of their inherent weakness to Psi? Wish you could be just like them in all their questionable end game glory? MoG it and you can join their ranks. “Hello Master Illuionist… how you doin?”

Need some crowd control but don’t want a leeching controller on your team? Hit MoG and the enemies will stare at you in confusion, unable to act. Fake Nemesis: “Wow, that guy actually USED MoG, what is he thinking??!!??” There is no counter for a stunning move like that….

Your team lacking in the buff/healing department? No worries, MoG will save your team. Using the extra influence gained from your perma-debt, you can afford to fully outfit the team with inspirations before each battle. Then, if things are going bad, pop MoG and then use your Vengeance to fuel your teams rage.

MoG allows you to become the truly epic archetype. All the power is yours to wield! There is no role you cannot fill, be it blaster, tanker, controller or defender. The enemies will run from your 1 man group. Hammidon will cower in the face of the Five-Types-in-One Hero. Paragon will be saved!

Join the MoG Scrappers, and be a Group of 1

I agree, MoG should be like a reverse Howling Twilight, you die but all the mobs areound you are stunned and slowed.

Then you hit res, and can slaughter them while they wander around in a daze!

Then with both MoG and Howling Twilight you can stun LTs and Bosses!

Hilarious posts.

By the way, I realise this is a very old thread, but I only just read it. And I found it through a link on a current thread.

:::kneeling and bowing::: ALL HAIL MOMENT OF GHANK!

MoG is the one power I cannot seem to get rid of that I despise and loathe. The power was bad enough in I2, but the changes of I4 plus ED made it an almost guaranteed faceplant. I keep it for those last second “hope and pray” situations and usually forget it is there because of my resistance to use it. The worst part is I usually find that when I do use it I still end up faceplanted anyway. That is despite 3 Resistance +2 SOs, and one +2 Defense SO. I still take almost as many hits even though 1 Defense SO puts me over the 100% Defense line. I find this most odd, I should be missed so little. I only wish it worked for me as well as it seems to work for Paragon Protectors. Actually, I think, late game baddie buffs overwealm the power. On paper, MoG would be awesome in the early levels of the game, but late game...

Anycase, I4 gimped the power due to it's ability to be made perma which was not a problem before but became one in the arenas during pre-pvp tests. I4 also added the 15 second Death/Debt window after it wore off. I5 (or was it I6? - the nerfs boggle the mind) killed MoG completely with the loss of perma IH.
