Hi all,
Hoping to get some general feedback on a trio I'm tossing around in my head for some friends I play with. The trio I'm thinking about would be a Spines/WP Scrapper, a Plant/Fire Dominator, and a Plant/Rad or Plant/Ice Controller.
The goal with the trio would be able to take down most content together, without help. Not that we're against teaming, but if we play on an off time and can't find people, I don't want an AV slowing us down. To that end, I'm thinking the Controller would be crucial. I can't figure out what secondary the controller should go with.
Any thoughts are appreciated. -

Hi all,
Looking for general build advice on an Ice/Dark I just pulled out of mothballs. I play him with two friends--another Ice/Dark Corr and an Ice/Ice Corr. We hadn't played them since pre-IO, and we're planning on respecing and getting them to 50.
Couple of non-negotiables:
1. We're playing demons, so we're always flying. To that end, I built for ranged defense. I might have too much, because the others will always be running their auras and Manuevers.
2. I'm worried about end. I'll probably get the Cardiac alpha, just to help.
3. I desperately want an immobolize. That's why I went with Mako (plus, it somewhat fits the ice-ish thematic element).
4. I'm thinking I'll drop the tier one ice attack. I've got it in my build now and it seems to be useful, so I'm a tad nervous about this.
Any thoughts anyone has are welcome. Build is below.

Hi all,
Big dominator user here. My current alt getting the most play mileage is my Plant/Fire dominator. I regularly play this alt with another friend, who has rolled a Spines/Fire. We'll probably play them all the way to 50, and then try to get the incarnates unlocked.
The alt's Lv 38 now, but I'm working on my Level 50 build. I've already got permadom at 38, and want to keep it (obviously). That said, I'm trying to squeeze in some good defense. I don't want to take Ice as my epic, even though Frozen Armor would help with that goal. I made this alt so that I could keep the look consistent, so I want to use Fire for my epic (especially given the fun that is Embrace of Fire + Fireball/Rain of Fire). As is, I've got good resistance, but I just can't get my defense any higher without losing perma-hasten (which I like out of convenience--stupid pom poms be damned).
Is there anything I'm doing wrong here, or is this the best it gets keeping permadom and permahasten. If this is the best it gets, is the defense I've got even worth it? Any other comments are also welcome

Background: Thanks to the help of the forum in a previous post (Three Dark/Darks), I'm probably going to be doing a trio with two other friends. Each of us will be SD, with a different elemental shield and primary. For my part, I'm probably doing an Energy oriented one (maybe faked out as Ice with coloring and the right shield--who knows).
Anyway, I come again for help. This will be my first brute. I'm going to look for some guides, but can anyone give me some slotting/power choice advice? Especially looking for advice on what IO sets I would want to use to make him a behemoth. I've played for awhile, and because this trio and I typically do one theme to 50 and then restart, I have a fair amount of cash saved, so expense really isn't an issue. Anyway, I'm fairly experienced on power choice and slotting (bonus wise) on ranged or control type alts, but I have no idea what to do for brutes (or for a NRG/SD brute, specifically). -

Hope to get some advice from all of you Brute aficionados. I run a trio with some friends and our current trio is probably going to be hitting Lv 45-50 sometime in the near future. We tend to restart once that happens. The other two routinely rib me for coming up with a trio where I can play a distance alt or a controller (they're right), so I was thinking of doing something all melee oriented.
So, I come to my question: Would three Dark/Dark brutes work very well in terms of powers stacking well/complimenting each other? Are there other primaries or secondaries we should look at (both if all three of us did the same or if we each did a different primary or secondary)? For reasons I won't belabor, earth/stone as primary or secondary is off the table.
