I know you lack a certain degree of self-awareness, but that's sad even for you.
Take it to Juiiliard and run it up the flagpole there. See where it gets you, no matter how dope you think it is, lol.
It isn't semantics. It's simply the truth, I didn't write racial slurs into the material I used.

I'm aware that bringing up it being a live audience is lost on you, but thankfully I don't write and perform to entertain you. There are enough people that support and enjoy what I do to make it worthwhile. You are literally one person in a handful of people that have something negative to say about the approach I take to battling.

Also, I rarely ever bring up my battling or anything I do performance wise as a means of bragging to anyone. Which is funny because you continue to cling onto it so desperately in some attempt to get under my skin.

Professors from different programs used to take auditions at the Nebraska Thespian festival when I was in school; it isn't uncommon for teachers from Evansville or Juilliard to show up in order to offer performance criticisms and act as scouts for scholarship programs. I didn't say that I was accepted to Juilliard or that I took method acting lessons from D'nofrio; I brought it up because you seem to assume that art criticism is specific to the medium, and that clearly no one here is on your level intellectually.

I have enough self-awareness to know that battling isn't something to take seriously. It's a fun hobby and I've always enjoyed performing & making people laugh. If it were that important to me, I'd be spending more time trying to create a legitimate name and capitalizing off of it by traveling and battling in different locales. Also, I've never once said that I thought that my material was "dope". I rarely watch my own battles after they get posted online because I'm the worst at deconstructing how bad I feel my own performance is each time. I posted the Konflict battle on the forums because I was asked to. If you didn't like it, okay. I didn't use racial slurs and if battling isn't your thing, it isn't your thing.

Define "effort", please. If by effort you mean we contacted the same people that we've been gaming with for a few years now and asked them if they wanted to come back and play for another league, sure. And if by "stack a team" you mean a bunch of players that are good friends and familiar with one another decided that they wanted to hang out and play on a team together again, sure.

If by do more than any other team you mean ask around for practices, not play for 3 weeks and go undefeated during a regular season? Okay. I think we maybe worked on 3 line-ups at best? We rotate players around just as much as any other team, and a heavy portion of our roster only plays about 1-2 times out of a week, or whenever there's an official.

You make it sound like our entire team had a round-table discussion about trolling tactics and we all theorized that Dex "pairing" with Covergirl would maximize our trolling efficiency. That you spend so much time analyzing our team and following us around attempting to be cute is... Well, okay it's cute.

No, the majority of us can't really agree on a game we'd all like to play in after CoH, it's a common ground where we all first teamed together. It makes sense for us to try and put a team together here. Most competitive First-Person-Shooters don't allow for an 8v8 format. Some of us enjoy TF2, others don't. Some of us enjoy Modern Warfare, others don't. Some of us enjoy League of Legends or HoN, and others don't. Some of us plan on playing ToR, others don't. The common ground is still CoH, most of the team didn't really care about winning the league so much as it was just about hanging out again and talking ****. That's the fun aspect for us. Sorry that's so difficult for you to grasp.

Hey man, screw you for questioning someone putting up a post mocking a similar one that we made because teams were intentionally avoiding practices with us when they were online with a full team doing things like internals or 4 hour RSFs.

Well, most our most recent practice was against you guys, and that doesn't actually count either.

    Not for us anyway.

What amazes me is how respectful you tend to be in game during practices and matches, only to turn around and try to run your mouth on the forums.

Are you that oblivious? Peril has emped one other time since he played for becalm, and before that it was HVND. We haven't practiced in 3 weeks and after one match (that we still won) you guys looked about as good as you did during our last official against your team.

The constant ******** grates on my nerves.
Competition isn't about predicting the outcome, by definition.

If anything, Kickballs are a far bigger "popularity contest" than league play is. Kickballs enforce the option for a lot of potentially underrated players to be fat-kidded out in favor of someone like, well... Mage. It's also very easy to predict the outcomes of Kickballs just as much as it is league play. But if it's your desire to be an incessant contrarian, be my guest.

No one's whining about stacking their teams during league play, most everyone is satisfied with their rosters, and speaking on behalf of my group, the entire reason we came back was to play with eachother. I suppose that's a Circle Jerk, but we weren't entirely exclusive about our recruitment process. I know we discussed several players that many of us didn't have prior experience playing with during the draft simply because of their willingness to compete and their versatility.

    Decimated

Decimate was one of the best and most underrated offensive players to ever play this game.

He recently cracked TF2 ESEA-invite after a ridiculous showing in intermediate.

My motivational speeches do a lot to rally a team together before officials.

    That isn't even a joke.
  16. WARE.gov ends the regular season with a 15.40 KD ratio.

    416 kills, 27 deaths.

    #leggo.
  17. It's disappointing that we won't be able to play against every possible team in the playoffs. I enjoyed doing that last year all in one sitting.

I also feel like a single elimination set up is going to cause teams to lean towards more gimmick-based BS in order to earn wins, but it's whatever.

My only request would to make it either best of 5, or make the matches 20 minutes by default if they are best of 3.

It's hard to glean that from anyone when most teams would rather do internals than say... practice against another team.

I'm not being specific here, the guilty parties know who they are.

Sadly, this is true. Unless teams were to start taking a greater interest in establishing practice schedules and doing more practice matches, on top of having at least 3 more active teams, a ladder really isn't feasible.

Though, while I was a huge proponent of pushing a ladder to Test last time, and still prefer Test to live, I would not be opposed to a live ladder.
  20. I've done maybe 3-4 internals in the entire time I've engaged in team PvP.

Clearly this has been to my detriment.
