i haven't been able to get any of these workarounds to work. what is the cider exec? is there going to be a fix? apple says you have to wipe your hard drive to reinstall lion.

i have a mac lion OS and i crash almost every time i play, i get "assertion failure" as the reason for this crash. i would like to know if there is something that i can do to avoid this.

i tried this and it stopped the freezing but now i get a complete crash with the message "assertion failure". i have to log back in. any ideas about this one??

the screen locks up and i have to turn the computer off. the graphics are all still there but nothing moves and the mouse and keyboard don't work.

i am a new player to the game. i am playing on a macbook notebook model no.A1342. the fan is now making a lot more noise. the fan might be going bad. i want to replace the fan but apple won't sell me a part. is there a website that will ship me a fan?
