Just got responded by support. Fixed the problem! If anyone else is experiencing this, here's what support suggests:

> 1. Press and hold the Windows key and then hit the R key. This should bring up the Run dialog box.

> 3. Go to the "Startup" tab and click the "Disable All" button.

I'm a bit of a tech noob. What are temps? I did clean out laptop, but COH crashes. I'm gonna try to contact support again.

I am using an external laptop cooler. I've been able to run Star Wars the Old Republic well (at minimum settings) due to the fan being in place.

Last time this contact windows happened was when NCsoft implemented its launcher over the COH launcher. I had to fix that by uninstalling/reinstalling the NCsoft launcher and COH. Tried that at least 5 times now, and still nothing

I have just an HP HDX 16 (model X16-1370US) I think it's the basic version.

My video card is a GeForce 130M, and installed with the 296.1 (most recent update according to website)

However, my game keeps crashing whenever I open the contacts page, or open a dialogue box with an NPC. Last time this happened was when the NCsoft launcher got put into effect. Tried updating video card drivers (GeForce 130M, Windows Vista), and nothing. Even tried rolling back updates on the driver, and still nothing. Any help available would be appriciated!"
